1992 KEY

Hi There

 

I am new to the family having just bought a 1992 Convertible.

 

I am getting it up together, and need help with several queries.

 

The first is it only came with one key, so I need to get a spare made.

 

Can you advise where I can get a blank?  Pics attached.

 

The key obviously had either a chip or battery at one time, but that has gone. What was it for?

 

Also on the key ring was a fob with buttons. i don't want to press these in case I lock it or set off an alarm.  Did the car have central locking?

 

I was warned not to leave the key in the ignition as the car could lock iself.
