Hi all,

So Maps do not use audio and sound when in the car ( I have an aftermarket head unit touchscreen thingy I installed).

It works for music, though.

After playing with the settings turning the rear speakers up and front down and vice versa I found the fronts don't work anymore, they used to sometimes work and sometimes not but now they don't work atall.

Now I'm not looking to upgrade them or I don't need an amp or what not I'm not an audio person, just working speakers for me is plenty enough. I see I need 6.5 inches; I have found 17cm on Halfords cheaply, around £35-50. Would that suffice? After seeing this, I see I need 8-inch adapters to make them fit.

Just looking for any advice or tips on doing so, like I said not looking for super sound quality literally just working front speakers again is all.

Thank You.

Managed to sort it for anyone wondering in future.

I bought these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08VWVYW5C?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title as I had just read 8" gap so bought 8 inch speakers. Well it took a little bit of force to push them in and the door cards had to be a bit persuaded to go back in but they work. I bought some wire adapters so I didn't have to solder anything, if anyone wants link to that let me know and it worked perfectly, have not used them for more than 5 minutes testing so hopefully they last. They sound decent, I'm not a sound expert so just working speakers are good enough for me.
