  1. If you don't mind doing some more welding, flexi joints are available via eBay. Edit: Just found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item43b460077b
  2. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/automobile-locksmith/
  3. I certainly wouldn't pay that for an ST model with only an 1800cc engine, much better to go for the two litre GT version.
  4. Just incase you need a starting point if things go pear shaped: http://www.reco-prop.co.uk/
  5. For those of you that didn't buy this book when it was first published - like me - now is the time to treat yourself to an early Christmas present. I have just received a paperback copy via Amazon for about the same price as a gallon of petrol, £5.28 inc' p&p. Original cover price was £19.99, so this is a great saving and I can't see it getting much cheaper.
  6. P2000 paper, followed with liquid Brasso. I removed the Toyota logo from the black plastic bonnet grille on my Gen' 5, so it should work just as well on your lights. Find an old worn CD case and practice the technique first to see if you're happy with the finished result.
  7. Yes, mine too. I was a big fan of the Yokohama brand when I had my Gen' 4.
  8. Digitalman, are we talking lots of rust here ? In which case the only way to remove it is by wire brush, sand blasting or you could try some of Bilt Hamber's rust removing gel called "Deox-Gel". Using the gel would mean that you could leave the calipers connected to the car. Remove the loose rust, smother in gel, wrap cling film around the caliper so the gel doesn't dry out overnight and 24 hours later you should have a clean rust free caliper.
  9. ...and apply the brakes moderately a few times during the journey to remove any rust from the discs.
  10. I would try using the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin and then a hire car which can be left near to your destination, providing the hire company has a depot in that area. Or, if you don't mind hitching a lift with a trucker, you will find plenty of professional drivers delivering to the south. Of course, if it's cheaper to fly than drive then the choice is clear. I found this on the HMRC site. Bringing means of transport which are not new to the UK.
