transmitter receiver needs power from the ignition feed (it'll flatten your battery if on the permanent power) the HU needs the right feed to trigger, could be 12V could be 0v check the manual. The transmitter should be powered on the camera's loom, i tend to use the reverse light circuit to do this.
You can manually trigger the reverse wire feed to the headunit using a switch you press. -
PVA, you need outdoor grade, but it is soft as a top coat and will stone chip easily.
Dip or wrap

Fitted plasma dials in a mates fto, look ok. Not my cup of tea.

I dont think there is much of a difference in fuel costs between the faff and a 190, Great news that you are on your feet again and things are looking up though.
Worth knowing
Might still consider a 140 though, but i need to find a good one withouth the oil issue, facelift IIRC.

Since I lost my job and wrote the AT200 off in 2009 i've had a rough run of things.
Insurance went sky high, nearly lost the house a few times, struggled to make ends meet, worst of all had to put up with a Suzuki Wagon R+ 1.3 GL.
But since then (2 kids later) and a new full time job (fingers crossed it goes permanent) I may be looking ta coming back to Celica ownership.
The Wagon will be getting the interior returned to stock, and sold to make funds for a better ride!
Was looking at a Faff, but fuel is going to be a big consideration, so i'm swaying towards a 190. Open to suggestions, advice and opinions, will be Sept/Oct when i look to buy.
I've been on here long enough to know what some of the replies are likely to be!

I may be a bit nearer but still a distance to go. if you're interested let me know, i'm a dab hand with the soldering iron.

Foliatec brake paint is very good, 2 part paint with an incredible finish.

What is it and how does it work?
The system uses low amps to produce HHO gas....
H H O, would that be two hydrogen and 1 Oxygen...........H2O, water gas.......isn't that steam?
-
Short answer, yes.
but do yourself a favour, buy a decent branded one, not one of the "does it all dead cheap" peices of poo. They fail, and often are difficult to use.
Go Kenwood, or Pioneer for example. Will cost a bit but won't fail anywhere near as soon. PM me if you want options and prices, but i may not be the cheapest around.

Hmmmm, not too convinced by any of that, ok the camera will work but would you not prefer something more subtle rather than a chrome lump?
Digital tuner, not convinced it's up to the job for mobile application and as for USB, you got no chance.
USB splitter, likely to get conflicts or at best problems with 5v power supply loss on one or other device.

Nowt wrong with Clifford if installed and set up right. Their Avantguard systems are well worth a look.
-
Short answer, single zone audio only, so you have to put up with the soundtrack!
-
Has it got a headphone out? If not using the infra red is far better. can get you some......
Ever the salesman.
Will check the spec in a mo.
Not coming up with much for that model?
AVX810 is domestic, AUX810 not found.
-
Is there no dual zone audio on the JVC you got?
If there is get some IR headphones hooked into the rear RCA out and she can use those and you can have the radio on.

Tyre weld, tyre pump. Could get you out of trouble but the tyre weld will bugger the tyre, but it'll get you to a garage, more than likely
European Health Insurance Card, might be worth applying for one, comes through pretty quick, do it online via direct gov.
fuel can and a torch (not the fire type!)

There is also sometimes a little LED disc thing that has a button on it, sometimes used as a Pin to re set the alarm/sync. I've a Cobra on the Suzuki, friggin hate it, will be upgrading when funds allow.
-
Poineer, good kit, but i don't get what's wrong with CDJs! I know 'em inside out, literally (used to repair them)
Kenwood is worth looking at as a brand, good quality, decent features and normally well priced.
-
The ones i do can be cut every 3 LEDs. These are more expensive than a lot of other sellers but i've had to replace set on a customer's VXR, albeit an older version after 3 years so far, so they last.
If you're and good at soldering it can be a simple job, if not i could do a set length with wires at each end and you could cut the strip down.

Just a quick update on the plans, due to a great offer from one of my suppliers the red cable so far looks like it'll be JL Audio branded "power" (ground! lol) cable, with gold plated battery teminals (with nice screw down fittings to accommodate the stock earth strapping) and matching red ring terminals for the cable.
Pricing may be flexible just yet but it does look to be around £40-£42 still.

Hooray i remebered this week
You have an email my friend
Thanks...
..but can you check and re send: sales@customice.co.uk as it's not come through.

Sorry i've not been on in the last week folks, as i've had to take a temp job to keep the household afloat (but it's all sorted now!) but it's 4x nights a week, absolute killer. Don't panic your orders will be fulfilled i'm a man of my word!
I'll re-asses the pricing Gstraw, might be a quid or so cheaper at best though.
Red is good to go as soon as the Gen 6 info comes through (i'll PM everyone when we're good to go)
Any issues let me know, and i'll pop my mobile n.o inn the PM so you all have a point of contact.

They attempted a repair on a scratch on our mazda 6, first attempt was the wrong blue, second attempt reacted badly, ended up having to take it to a professional body shop for two doors and rear quarter respray. IMO avoid.
