  1. Yes its for sale - stunning car http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/138127-gen-7-might-have-to-go/page__pid__1700798__st__20#entry1700798
  2. Ask Ferdy on here if you can tag along to the GT4OC RR day at Surrey RR on the 19th May - think there are a few places left.

  4. For £4K your buying a very good car in most cases - i know this car and its a gem However some cars are way overpriced and they ask sily money for cars worth far far less. Ideally you want someone who knows the cars to take a look with you to lessen the risk of buying a dog
  5. This is a very good example http://pistonheads.com/sales/3753055.htm
  6. As said biggest cost is fuel really. Diff mounts can go but not a diff unless you drive like a complete twat. Heads dont go on 205's unless its got other issues that have caused it to go. Generally very very reliable unless you buy a bag of shite. BUT and its a big but these were £30K cars in 94 and just because they fall into the affordable to buy category you have to correctly maintain and service them with good quality products. Lets not kid ourselves they are old cars now and other things will start to deteriorate as time goes by but thats like any other car. Buy a good un and it will give plenty of miles of happy motoring - but if you cant afford a good un you deff cant afford a bad un
  7. Ive said mesh - for me it looks strange with that big open space
  8. as said mods dont add value and in a lot of cases can detract from it. Look at my build it stands me at a stupid amount of money but if i sold i might get £7 - £8K tops and i doubt i would tbh For a lot of people modding themselves is the attraction so buy a blank canvass. If you decide to sell id serioiusly consider reverting back to standard and selling all mods - a stock GT would attract more potential buyers than a modded one IMO
  9. Sad times - was a superb example. Main thing is your ok though
  10. Im sure RTP would fit them for you if you got the mirrors off and sent em to them.
  11. Saturdays are usually free so yeah i can bring up the undertray and harness's

  15. Aye bloody things - also broke my new drivers side A pillar trim so need another bastard
  16. Well i have got them both off - how the hell i fit the cf cases i have no idea. The 3 screws underneath the mirror are well stuck in even though i soaked em in WD40 hours ago. Tried to undo em but they are rounding off
  17. Just done other mirror - 3 mins from start to finish
  18. Erins got proper bingo wings so that rules her out Done it - cheers mate. My next question is this - how the fuck do i fit the cf covers ??
  19. Yer ive got the mirror itself off - but i cant remove the wiring so its hanging off the car at mo
  20. The loom that goes into mirror also goes into door card - i thought there might have been a plug near the actual mirror housing but there aint. Also got no idea how to remove door cards so bit stuck. When i took mine off my car i just chopped the wiring as was putting no adjustable lightweight mirrors on but this is the wifes and im putting some RTP cf mirror cases on. Pain in the bloody arse - already cut all my bloody fingers
  21. Right getting the mirror itself off is easy its how the bloody hell i get the wiring as i dont want to cut it. Any help greatly appreciated
  22. Yeah seen someones car moved with forklift and ruined when battalion was deployrf to Iraq - also seen many cars wrecked by so called trusted mates who said they would take it out once a week to keep it in good nick. Park it as near to guard room as poss so its less at risk from pissheads wrecking it. The wifes was stood for 4 months and perfectly fine when we got it started again
