I reckon Diet Coke would work better at cleaning rust... CillitBang probably tastes better though

Well, not today... Although it did just get a wash.
Replaced neo chrome plated, cheap wheel nuts with black Mishimoto ones.
Replaced my Rays dust caps after some little scrote stole all of them... (overnight parts from Japan and all that)
Finally did something about the blue battery... Which was paint it and use a offcut of 3m carbon effect wrap... Doesn't look too bad... if you squint... And have the bonnet closed.

Started talks with an Importer of Skylines about looking for an R33 GTS-T within my budget.
I kinda feel like a married man who just made a Tinder profile.
Today I cheated on my Celica
(it is entirely possibly that I have issues with emotional attachments to vehicles)

The GT is an OEM selection of alloys and suspension. There's a big difference to someone buying cheap alloys that are more akin to cheese and doing suspension mods that involve cutting springs. I broadly agree with their comment about "Car designers know what they’re doing". It still boggles my mind how many people in the modification scene think they know better than Toyota when it comes to extracting more horse power out of a 1.8l engine.
It boggles me how confrontational you are.

" So, there you go, the seventh-generation Toyota Celica. It’ll never break down and it’ll always look great, unless you dick about with it, like so many have care of awful alloys or stupid suspension"
Maybe best not to tell them about the GT then.

what was the probem ?
There were some issues with the Forum a month or so back where I would see people had responded to a post but the response would not show, Or I would reply to a thread and look back to see my post was not there but someone else appeared to be commenting on something I had posted but I couldn't see my post at all.
All very odd but I don't think I was the only one experiencing it

I use these LED Strips
Plenty bright enough but obviously not as easy just changing the bulbs for brighter ones.
My reversing lights are now my indicators

Umm I can see it's a carbon fibre something (the Seibon packaging gives that much a way) but... What is it?

As Baz almighty would happily tell you, the little tweaks make all the difference with the gen7! Looks nicely put together with choice parts, very moist
Finally, I can see your post!

Freeman this is so nice
Wow, thanks.
Not exactly heavily modified. Spaff's old Gram Lights (with a refurb and paint job) and some custom tail lights.
It's a bit understated really, well as understated as GT can be with that wing

Cheers freeman, yeah covers like that should be quite easy to produce.. If you have spare covers im sure can sort something out to make moulds from.. I am also looking into pigment colours so can make different colours of carbon fibre . (red, blue, yellow even purple) these are all things that will take some experamenting.. Haha...
I'll get some sorted for you, I have a spare set that I planned on painting up but ended up just painting my old, battered ones.
Will PM you for address.- 1

Do you have any pictures of what covers? You meaning the cam cover or the plastic covers?
The shiny black bits in Daytona's engine bay
If you think you could do this and need some to make molds or what have you then I can sort some out for you.

Engine covers for the Gen7 190 would certainly get my attention (and probably a few others too) these used to be available but from what I've seen that was back when the Gen 7 was still being produced.

I'm afraid my money would be on the Civic, as well.
As for looks, well there was a reason that the EP3 is nicknamed the Bread Van
