Love these updates, would be good to see it in the flesh one day! (And hear it )
Question if I may, are you retaining an OEM ECU with the Link? If so, how have you installed in the car, patch harness from existing connections or diverting the loom inside?

Everything on this is a work of art, great stuff.

Sounds like some really dodgy film you'd find on the deep web!
Oh man I think I've actually seen a video called that now you mention it. I'd forgotten that for a reason...

2 screwdrivers and a hammer!
For the future, K&N ones have a nut moulded in to the bottom of them

Saved £40 in fuel getting the AA to tow me from Brentwood to Bedford. Fingers crossed its not a goner for japfest tomorrow

Everyone seems to be offering a Ceratec now. I've had mintex and textar and they're basically the same.
Looks like eurocarparts have pagid's version for a fiver

@Dtracer do you have any of these left mate?
-
Worst case and you don't get exactly what you want as is, will you consider breaking?
-
Does raise a point on values though as the FB groups are so quick to devalue these cars
On every mint GT sale add with low miles it's like "why spend 5k on this when you could buy a 99 140 on 186k with oil burning issues and lacquer peel on every panel for £400"
We should all just list our cars on eBay with no intention to sell for a higher price to see what happens

UK availability is the problem, bloody loads in the US! I'll message carbotech directly and see what they have, cheers bud

I had 2500's. They're fine for the street, I personally had fade issues with them on track, but that was with the stock calipers. You'll probably be fine with that BBK. From what I researched the Carbotech is a much superior option for the track thou
Hmm cheers bud - maybe the 3000s might be better just to be sure then? although they are 356mm discs so pretty beefy.

I had the 2500s , spot on although ive now gone for the carbotech 8s as they supposedly have better braking from cold
Cheers bud, they look like my only readily available option and not too dear either
Not massively concerned about cold temps as I can swap the TRD ones back in when needed as they have loads of life in em

What's everyone's thoughts on a decent pad for track use only? Currently have the TRD BBK (Stoptech ST41 caliper) with TRD street pads, which are fine but not sure how they'll sustain the heat
Wanted the Project Mu HC+ but they are impossible to get in the UK now & about all I can find for this caliper are Ferodo DS2500s, any other thoughts before I buy these?
No EBC stuff either please

Buy Yuasa
Fit Yuasa
Forget about battery issues for years.
The only issue ive ever had with Yuasa batteries is that for whatever reason, their labels like to curl up at the edges. I glue them back down when it starts looking skanky
Amit - aren't Lion rebranded Varta ?
+1 for Yuasa
When I bought this car it was parked up for 3-4 years, started first time when I collected

Oh man, sounds phenomenal

One for the non-daily people (or maybe just me)
8) put car in garage and forget about it and all of the work/upgrades it needs until a week before show/track season

You guys do realise that wings aren't just for RWD cars right?

I have had one for ages, never used it because of the reservoir cap.
Think a good idea would be to buy another cap, drill a hole in it and seal it, might try soon as they're due a bleed

Great work mate, very interesting at how small they are like previous comments have said
Loving all the R&D you're putting into our cars

Having driven Gen 7s with brand new standard pads and discs, Wilwood BBK with fast road pads, and TRD BBK with fast road pads... the TRD kit is the only one that has had significant improvement in terms of pedal feel. Bloody expensive however.

CE11CAZ is good but you can't have it unless it's a 2011 or newer car
Celica 2ZZGE Exhaust manifold

This is where my knowledge runs out lol, so obviously this made fantastic gains on Paul's as his manifold was a limiting factor with his power.
Would you expect to see any gains on a standard bottom end 2zz that's currently knock limited for any more power? 312 crank BHP at 8000 (now optimised to 8500 but no readout)
