I had mine wrapped and you could still see the peel through it. Also made the roof worse once I took it off and a professional did it. Might as well sort the lacquer peel out

You're probably right - gen 5s need 5 spoke wheels.
they need a specific set of 5 spokes too

I'm 22 and already on my second celica! Hehe first one got paint damage and wrote off before I could drive it so that one went. And I've had my darling pain in the ass jello (gen 5 20th anniversary) since June! Still a Learner Btw! Got my test booked soon! But it doesn't stop me modding her and planning the next big thing I work in the lovely area of retail :/ supervisor at farmfoods! Back onto celicas
my next plan after this one is to get a gen five vert I just love the poppy uppy lights hehe -

Window tinting is one of those 'easy' wanky jobs
Read instructions , apply film , sorted
No ! Read instructions , do everything it says , lay down back seats so you have room to tint the rear hatch ,realise you need to get into boot to fit tint , end up with the tinting film stuck to you head like in the aliens films
Only time I tinted my windows and it looked good was when I was 18 I tinted the whole rear windows of my mini with hammerite !!! Looked brilliant on the out side , but a tad dark on the inside
Haha this would have looked good on mine if I hadnt stuck it to itself lol! Then I looked like the woman in black coz it flopped on my head! Haha turns out my tint film wasn't wide enough either! The side Windows don't look too bad but I can't afford silly money to get them done. I've been quoted 90 and 100 from two different companies :/ Im just getting impatient coz I want everything I can do finished before jae

i have given up trying to do my boot and dragon queens also needs doing professionally because me and dad did it! lol! we did a good job its just she wants it perfect! hehe!!

4 cans of pink vht
4cans of underseal,
cleany bits and cloths from inspired automotive,
more meguiars from halfrauds,
ten million samples of vinyl (not really ten million but ive lost count
) biiiig pile of microfibre cloths,
loads of decals
picking my favourite ones hehe!, ultra limo black tint
and still to come:
new headlights,
pink paint for interior bits and some hydro dippy stuffs
think thats everything! i got a tad ebay happy
and i can safely say i am now broke!!

hermes and paisley - Ive never had a problem and I send may 5-15 parcel with them a week - what problems have you had.
Most of the time problems are down to sending parts that are not appropriately packed - or sending items that are easily prone to damage and too hard to securely pack - dont send doors, bonnets, tailgates - wings are a maybe if you can pack properly
Paisley kick the carp out of parcels and hermes were good until they lost our parcel for ages and were complete turds about it.

Well the mileage is quite high and if I'm fixing up the body work I may as well put an engine in with less mileage so it lasts longer
I'm just looking at customising paint at the minute
just after the same engine but less miles -
Sorry if this is in the wrong place :)but I am looking at dropping a newer engine in my brum once I've stripped her back and sorted the paint issue. Anyone on here know of anywhere I can get one for at a reasonable price with descent mileage as this one has almost 150,000.
Decided she was a bargain and I'm wanting to fix her up and customise her to death

The exhaust gave a headache on my first drive, sounded like dub step to an old man. Now I love it. As if the colour wasnt loud enough.

Stickers slow me down so ill probably take em off.
There's a weird grinding noise sometimes from the rear driver wheel and a whirling sound from the engine... Normal noises? And sometimes I loose coolant but no radiator leaks, just a bubbling sound when I start up.
