Definitely tasteful. Sets a great example for silver Celicas.

Would never trust aluminium wheel nuts regardless of them being genuine or not.

2 years and 4 months. Bought second hand for £2995. Pictured here 4 days after I bought it.

Aren't iridium plugs supposed to work in harmony with premium unleaded (Shell V-Power for example)?

Found this topic from Ford and Jap at Thoresby 2013, and this Gen 7 caught my eye.
Does anybody know the owner or if there's a build thread? Thanks.

"J" is wheel width mate, not offset. Your offset is marked by "ET".

Didn't come in the post but went to my local MR T and bought 5 litres of red pre-mixed coolant (long life OFC). Now have the fun task of bleeding the system and replacing the coolant.

My CCUK calendar. Looks great, great pics and layout!

Look great in place of the back window of a Gen 1, in the rear three-quarters of a Gen 7... I'm not so sure.

That's some Final Destination sh#t right there.

Haven't had that many compliments of late - had quite the opposite at a KwikFit the other day:
"Is yours the Civic, mate?"
And, unfortunately for those unlucky enough to go to KwikFit regularly, that was one of the members of staff asking.
LOL i had somebody ask me at a car club meeting, "is it yours the Civic?" The somebody in question is also an ex-Gen 7 GT owner and member of this forum.

Most of the comments on mine are about the seats lol, saying how they love the interior.
Also, "sick car mate!"

The centre cap area on the front wheels looks totally different aswell.

Looking at ordering some of these very soon. Should I go for grooved and dimpled or just grooved? Will be going for Mintex pads. The car is just driven on roads, no track use.
Thanks.

Another reason I went off owning an older car, was always concerned this may happen. Very sad sight to see.

Had my TRD side skirts and bumper primered and painted for £160. Another place primered, painted and fitted my Greddy lip and TRD rear valance for £250. So you've saved £110 over me!

Dad hit a pigeon in his A4 on Saturday. The pigeon was all over the place, not even a mark on the Audi!

28% fail on lights not working. That's just plain lazy.
Also, unless the garage do free re-tests, £30 wasted.

Actually scratch that, literally just seen a black Gen 6 with green alloys, and lots of stickers.

Seems to vary a lot round my way. I only ever see Gen 7s in my neck of the woods oddly, and seems 50% are driven by older men, whereas the other 50% by younger lads like myself (I'm 22). I mostly see standard ones, with 1 or 2 modified ones about. Very rarely, if ever see a woman driving one.

Very nice! Went there about 4 years for the annual holiday. Would love to go there for a road trip now I can drive. Maybe a Club road trip round there may be in order someday?

I've never understood the high price of so many older Fords all of a sudden. The old MK1/2 Escorts, Cortinas I can believe, as they have a real racing history and pedigree to them, but the 80s XR, RS fords... Why? XR3is, RS Turbos don't really have any racing heritage to make them expensive, and compared to many other hot hatches from the time, weren't anything special. MK4 XR3is took the best part of 10 seconds to get from 0-60, didn't handle, and the CVH didn't like to be revved hard; but you had to rev it hard otherwise the car wouldn't go anywhere! RS Turbos were pretty slow for something that was turbocharged. Atleast XR2s handled like go-karts and were reasonably nippy for something sub-100 bhp, but I don't see why you now have to £4000+ for a good one. Is it just nostalgia?
hmm wheel dilemma .....
