  1. I bolted mine on yesterday after breaking another plastic clip.

Dropped a bolt through the hole and put a nut on it very tight. Then offered the plastic tray up and put a washer + nut on to the bolt to hold the tray on.

    Worked like a charm.

May get some flared wing nuts and do the whole lot...

Not a fan of the plastic clips at all. Not a fan of engine covers/plastics either but the bottom ones have been allowed to stay :)

What size bolt did you use? I think m6 may be the correct size. I got wing nuts too but not sure if they would shake loose with the viberations thinking nyloc nuts would be better?

  2. im sure i can get M7 or M8 nuts and bolts to do a proper job of holding the under tray on, dont need to do all of them, just the ones ate the front and the ones at the back. middle ones can use the plastic push clips.

could easily weald some stainless bolts to the undertray clip holes. hmmm

  3. son of a bitch wankers. I can understand why the culprit didn't stick around. when you prang a car as good as a celica there is a high probability that the owner comes out not looking to take insurance details but to hand out an ass whuppin. in this one instance club stickers mean the owner is someone who is into the car and the likely hood of the ass lashing will be very high.

I feel for you tom. if this happened to me I sometimes wonder if its better the culprit drives away otherwise my temper would get the better of me and then i would end up getting done for it.

  4. my fiesta was bady corroded on the sils, and after much patch work welding i got both sils replaced.

but i deo remember them testing it with a hammer and smacking it all around the car.

in hindsight the ones with the plastic kits on sils hide the rust and let it pass mot forever!!!
