  1. Erm still looks like plastidip to me. Worried that googling it I can find literally nothing about it, no reviews at all I can see alot of deformities even in their low res photos, look at the white M class around the wheel arches, and the purple VW van is just a state.
  2. Urgh I know the feeling. It's like a bloody epidemic at the moment
  3. Better to push it out from the other side I reckon. The suction cups are good for bigger dents I've found
  4. The Upol stuff, own brand primer and lacquer is crap. Most of the paints are ok Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  5. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO ~~~~~~AVOID AVOID AVOID~~~~~

  7. 'we are going to install a and brand new Wizzard of NOZ system for you, this will give you an extra 50bhp with an 8 second burn just to dust the other boy racers.' 'we could have done a GT4, but we thought a standard 2.0l car that anyone can insure and drive would be much better as our first car' What...
  8. Ouch. I know it will be expensive as they will have to shape it to fit, then paint match. Just Google car body shops in your area and go on a price/reputation basis. Cheapest is definitely not best in terms of bodywork. If they cock it up too it will cost more to fix it. I'd say budget £500 for paint then whatever the labor of shaping and assembling is.
  9. Happy Anniversary The Spectre!

  10. I can see this going very well or very wrong. Good luck
  11. It's been up for so long, they obviously aren't bothered about seriously selling it. If they do TAKE THE HINT.

  13. Looks nasty unfortunately, definitely not a diy job. I'd imagine he'd have some paint left over, if he kept it is the real question. A real pain in the arse I know but shit happens, next time it'll be entombed in bubble wrap I reckon.
  14. Halfords stock them now, start at around £70 I think
  15. Bosch, yuasa or halfords calcium (the new halfords ones are made by yuasa) come with 4 or 5 year guarantee. If you know someone with a trade card nick it it'll drop the price of the battery a fair bit.
  16. You'd have to be running lsd and in the high 300s or low 400 bhp just to keep up I imagine.
  17. You can just spray on more lacquer then blend it in with some polish or T-cut. My paint really bugs me with the amount of stonechips in it... However the plastidip kits look cheap hmmm.....
  18. Well I'll have to watch this space as I may attempt this early next year... Or a faff... or an evo... supra...
  19. I believe you can keep the 140 gear box as it has better gear ratios?
  20. My bumper and bonnet have so many paint chips, if you can be bothered diy with a toothpick or very small paintbrush get touch up paint and lacquer from these guys. http://www.carpaintrepair.co.uk/acatalog/Car-Touch-Up-Paint.html
