  1. damn I wish I could.... A study done by online retailer Halfords discusses which car colors birds are most likely bomb. The sample included 1,140 cars in Brighton, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester. According to the study, red cars are most likely to have bird-turds on them. The color least likely to be covered in bird droppings is green, followed by silver, white, black and then blue. Source: Halfords Damn knew I should have got a green t sport (if they do it) lol Considering getting a car cover, but that attracts theives Hmmm I got two choices; 1. Park under tree and risk bird plop 2. Park on the other end of the road where everyother day a window is smashed, Decisions decisions lol
  2. il look into that thanks How about a decoy owl, need to get rid of these pigeons! what paint colour on a car is best against the effects of this shite!
  3. I am sick and tired of getting up every morning to see my car covered in bird Sh##te!! Today I cleaned off my bumper and it seems to have left a permanent stain!! It's like its etched into the paint work 4 Life I tried to wash, wax and polish it away, but it's still visible! I ordered some of this stuff now (for future incidents) as the summer is here so when it lands it will heat up and bake the paintwork! http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1439.l2649 Anyone got any tips on how to bes clean up and keep paint work intact! Maybe I should invest in an Owl
  4. you know the old saying, if its not broke don't fix it
  5. you know I saw this video and it definitely makes you think twice; But each to their own i guess its personal choice wether you think flush is best for your motor or not I just do reg oil changes every 3-4k Devious what mileage is your car at? and secondly what makes you wanna flush it??
  6. But I heard this flush stuff runs the engine dry so when starting there may be some grinding until oil is circulated around anyone correct me if im wrong as I was thinking to do a flush to
  7. well can't complain too much, we do get all the bells & whistles with the gen 7, and a very nice interior i must admit... I've gone from owning a Honda all my life this is my first toyota & i can not say that i am disappointed (only about the gearbox that's my only gripe)!! id rather spend the extra on making my ride nice
  8. Interesting stats there, so how comes the integra does 0-60 in 6.7secs and the Celica does it in 7.2 Yeah gotta agree the integra (DC2) is still holding its value real well. The only thing I can think here is that they done a good job on the gearbox and I for one feel the celica box is the let down of the car, I also believe Vtec hits earlier than lift! never driven a integra type r before though
  9. Also saw these videos on the Integra R; I wonder if this sort of research & development has gone into our celicas??? would have been nice to see a video of that but cannot find! Would have been interesting to see the 190 vs the Integra R on the drag.... as their both 1.8...
  10. Don;t know if this has previously been covered... But anyone seen this video This second video no subtitles although interesting watch, I believe the silver celica is the 190..... Just thought id post for anyone who wants to have a look, enjoy lol
  11. Foxxy I don;t totally agree one of my old cars was a Rover 220 turbo tomcat, not a car to be taken lightly. 0-62 in 6.2 (standard), that's without mapping or uprating the turbo or anything, I absolutely loved it!! It had an uprated quad layer head gasket and had no issues whatsoever, it was a real powerhouse of a vehicle and was so damn reliable, and gearbox that I can firmly say puts the celica to shame (my biggest dislike in the celica), not to mention parts as cheap as chips, I remember getting a calliper for £12 lol but very very different when comparing Turbo to Lift...
