As far as cable size goes, you cannot "over amp" a cable, it just doesn't make sense for the manufacturer to use cable that is larger than necessary on a cost / weight scale.
On the other hand, you can "under amp" a cable i.e. try to pass too much current (amps) through a cable and it will catch alight ! My advise would be to try to match the cable sizes as near as possible to those that the manufacturer fitted or use slightly larger, never go for a cable that is thinner than what the manufacturer fitted as they always use the smallest cable that they can get away with.

Good year F1's.............brill !

It depends how hard the rubber is as to whether or not it will cope with the contours. i would be interested to know how it works as I have a "door ding" in the middle of my door which bugs me every time i wash the car.

The thing is the pleating / styling on the front seats doesn't then match the back seats.

I don't think AMS would take that as a gift !

That looks like a real fun way to spend an afternoon !

Gutted for you, there are some real ****holes around.
I think as long as everything is working and nothing likely to be loose / fall off you should be O.K. for the MOT, I would just unbolt the spoiler for now.

PVC pipe of the correct diameter if you can find some the correct size.

As the sensor is a "reactive" device in it's own right I wouldn't think the cable will be resistive, just make sure your joints are 100%.

I'll order one of them because I'm not putting my wheels on for another week or so but good tip with the tape
I always wrap Duct Tape around the Std one in the boot as well.

I think you need a wire from your reverse light switch at the gearbox to "tell" the Head unit you have selected reerse gear and to go to the correct screen input, I believe the head unit will need configuring as to weather the signal received from the switch is either a + or ground.

4th brake Light ?

Might be fine for you but I like to do things the right way.
Just the old school way of lightening things is all.
-
Get hold of a spare bracket and start drilling, loads of weight could be lost before you lose mechanical integrity and so much cheaper.

"That's a good point cheers Lee"..............it's Ian actually ! The user name comes from all my family saying "its only me" when they phone, trouble is alot of them sound like each other, so its become a bit of an in joke

Check and see if there is any sign of the adhesive left behind from a lost stick on wheel weight. I draw round mine with a Sharpie pen so it shows up if they have fallen off.I shall admit too it was fun but on arriving home I checked the front tyres that had only just been fitted on Thursday and they hav weighted and balanced the drivers side but the passenger front doesn't hav a single weight on it :-o no wonder I hav superb wobble at 60mph....

When I use V-Power, the low throttle response is smoother, low gear and partial throttle moving in traffic feels smoother.
