yeah i think also its where its change from a baffle system to a better gas flowing system ....thats a nice tailpipe , i can change mine anytime i want for about £65 from the place i had it done custom but at the moment i like the 4" angle type

thats a cleaner looking exhaust debs , love the tailpipe ... i found that with the new exhaust it felt much more responsive and felt like it breathed a lot better ...ive had mine on since 2014 so its fully sounds great now , the odd pop here and there but mine doesnt go pop , pop , pop it does like a louder version of a pop depending how you are with the throttle

whoa debs ... i got some from a motor factors and they were £10 a pair .... but i did have trouble undoing the bolts and 3 actually sheared , in the end the two further in had to drill through the captive nut and put a bolt , washer and nut on them to secure ....while one bracket had to be undone and bent as i had the idea that the fourth bolt will shear ...only one bolt went in ..complete pain in the ass too.. i fully lubed the bolts too but it wasnt having any of it

From shell website:
https://support.shell.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115005935369-What-is-Ethanol-
"This means that, in the UK, Shell regular unleaded and Shell V-Power unleaded are likely to contain some ethanol, but it will not be present at more than 5% (in accordance with current UK specification requirements)."
So yep vpower also has ethanol and they charge like 15p per litre more than momentum99.
tell me about it mate ive been paying £1.51.9 a litre for vpower at our local shell but after a full tank i have been finding it seems to last a bit longer than the ultimate bp ...in fact i was going with bp and paying £1.30ish but then noticed i wanted to go back on vpower and our 3.2v6 quattro goes on the shell 95 fuelsave and seems to run better on that ...

expensive but your having a big transformation to the car debs looks good , your have to get a snippet of it in action ...i did a quick slower drive a few years ago on my industrial estate as others wanted to hear mine i hooked up my action camera to my jdm tow hook using the velcro mount ...was quite impressed how it come out :

You were lucky to get a good job done and a great deal some years ago when custom exhaust build prices were far more affordable, it would appear that costs and prices have sky rocketed since.
I also get the impression it's easier and less expensive to built a noisy exhaust system than a quiet one, and it's not just about decibels but how the tuneful the sound becomes, and the effect upon engine efficiency and power.
It will be interesting to hear what the Crazy Cat Car sounds and drives like, maybe as soon as tomorrow
yeah your right debs , i paid £180 for mine with lifetime guarantee but even the place i had it done charges £300+ now ...apparently i was told i can get the tailpipe changed for about £60 if i wanted to ... but i think im happy with my 4" round version as it sort of contours to the bumper too and doesnt stick out too much .

very nice debs , ive had my fabricated exhaust for nearly 6 years so far , mine was a fabricated backbox with a smaller box towards the flange but its lighter than the stock version and sounds great ...i opted for mid range on mine so its a bit louder but not so much on tickover but its in between loud and OE :

Such a clean sound, not like my angry abusive bitch. You can really tell when money has been spent.

it was just a backbox to the flange that was fabricated and it cost me the same as a Japspeed , i do like the sound but also come with a lifetime guarantee as well .

i havent done a recent one but this is 4 years after my custom exhaust was fitted , i filmed using a JDM tow hook and a action cam on my industrial estate , i have a 4" stainless angle midrange courtesy of Infinity Exhausts.

Have you fitted them? I'm looking at buying H7 MTEC super whites to match my LED sidelights and they have good reviews
the mtec superwhites are fantastic lights that produce a clear crisp white light , ive used nothing but these over the 8 years and one pair of dipped bulbs lasted over 3 years ..
they are a good output but even better if you clean up the lenses too ..but make sure you dont purchase the 100w ones that kickout 150w as they are for show use only, your need the 55w that kickout 100w which are fully legal , i also added the HB3 main beam versions too
