  1. Thanks mate, I'll give them a call on Monday and see what they say.
  2. That looks great mate, do you reckon they could re-chrome my plastic 'Rolla knob?
  3. Where can you get it re-chromed, I have a 'Rolla T-Sport knob that was worn, so I sanded it down to paint, but I want it chrome again!
  4. I've used protyre in the past, but only because I knew a guy in the Plymouth branch (Gupa P) Use their website to get an idea on some prices, get some tyres in mind, and then ring around your local fitters and see if any of them offer a better price, Bear in mind that some places won't include new valves and disposal in their quotes so do ask. As for Tyres, there was a HUGE thread about it not too long ago, When I was looking I narrowed it down to Falken ZE914's, FK452's, Kumho KU39's, Toyo T1R's, and some Yoko AD08's. Then the trade off between price, grip, longevity, noise etc lead me to the ZE914's, and they've been superb.
  5. My Sports M skirts back from RT Performance
  6. I'm with Ger, the cherry red thats on the 86 Or a slightly deeper electric blue
  7. Yeah, when I bought the car the previous owner was running the pressures too low, there was no tread on the edges of the tyres, but still 3-4mm in the middle.
  8. I think it's more that lower profile tyres offer more support on stiffer sidewalls and to combat the edge wear that this would create, increasing the pressure would put more load into the middle band of the tyre. The width would also be a factor. And by that reckoning the 215's would be slightly higher again?
  9. Wasn't this asked a week or two ago? Anyway the load rating will also influence the required pressure.
  10. WHATS IN THE BOX........... Is it a head?
  11. +1 for this, A few years ago I put some Bosch super 4's in my old Corsa, a month later driving up Halden hill on the A38 I lost all power, limped home to find all the contacts had completely disintegrated on one of the plugs
  12. Happy Anniversary James7!

  13. So I went and got some second hand wheels today for a bargain price, they will need some new rubber all around pretty soon, and could do with a light rub back and re-lacquer, which I'm considering doing myself, but I'll try and polish them up a bit first to see what's what. Anyone got an idea of what it would cost to get them re-lacquered?
  14. Well they didn't come in the post, but rather I took a trip up to collect them, but still...
  15. Cool, if you do the underside you get a ribbed effect, rather than solid, I'm sure there are some pictures somewhere..
  16. There's quite a bit of info here: http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/147349-headlight-ideas/page__hl__+open%20+headlight#entry1835939 I still haven't gotten around to doing this myself, are you planning to paint the inside or fit some halo's? Good Luck, Let us know how you get on!
  17. My face right now. It's easy to overlook how dangerous these things can be, but they should never be able to go to a pressure that high!
  18. Welcome to Celica Club UK James7 :)
