  1. Even taking that into account Bill it's never equal. The day it happens I'll have another thing to worry about! Lol
  2. After changing the oil I have never, in thirty odd years of working on cars, had the same amount out as I've had to put in to get it to the same level on the dipstick. It didn't matter if it was an MG or a Mazda, a rotary or a piston, bike or car. Maybe NASA should look into it... Lol
  3. I'll be there Dan. Costs at the moment include one FTO gearbox (which raised the cash) and I'll need a pulsoid rebuilt at a cost of £61 plus postage. Add in various pipes and that it'll be around £100 from my pocket. But as I said, then I will need at least a wide band lambda for tuning, then a set of pistons when I burn a hole in them, etc, etc, etc! Lol
  4. Yup, which is why I will be so careful. It's far too easy to rush off and blow things up and this is my daily driver.
  5. I've not got that far yet, the Mrs thought it was for show for about ten minutes then stopped deluding herself. It's about seven quid a lb and I've got an 11lb bottle so about eighty quid for a refill. Which is still cheaper than a turbo or a charger, lol
  6. Haha, not the first in history definitely as I've been reading a few horror stories online which will make me very careful about the instal. It's a progressive kit so I can at least start with a slow 25 shot and work up to around 50. Then I'll get addicted and start spending money... again!
  7. Not quite in the post as I had to collect it but it still needs shown off.
  8. Got a wee bit of tidying up to do then source some 295mm discs and pads before fitting but they'll help with what I'm picking up tomorrow.
  9. Not quite in the post but I did pick it up this morning
  10. Sounds like nitros would be more what you're looking for imho. Give the boost when you want it without a huge weight issue otherwise. Sent from my Windows Phone 8S by HTC using Tapatalk
  11. As doublet.says, it acts like a pad wear indicator so that would always be my first port of call.

  20. Okay, a bit of searching t'internet and it appears there are many camps, but most of them agree that red rubber grease is pretty brilliant for it so thats what I'm going to use. Thanks me - Yer aright man!
  21. What's the usual grease people use for front calipers? I use red rubber grease for the rears as they sit in a rubber tube but I've run out of normal grease so I need to get some more anyway. Cheers
