Thank-you for all your information regarding window washer motor on my 1995 Celica 2 litre GT. Took inner wheel arch protector out and found window washer motor at bottom of reservoir as stated. Disconnected pipes and wiring connector, and took it out. Tapped it a few times on ground, and suddenly it worked again ! Reservoir was clean, pump was clean, found no dirt. Reconnected pipes and wiring plug, and it was working washers front and rear perfectly again. Tested it on and off, and finally replaced wheel arch protector, hoping fault would not return until after my M.O.T. Awful job getting wheel arch protector back properly ! I might have known that something would go wrong after I replaced it. The washers still work , but the motor has stopped working the rear washer ! Not affecting the M.O.T thankfully, but something just fixing itself and then going funny again could fail just before the M.O.T or even when being tested ! My motor says Toyota Denso - 85330-12280 and below 060210-3220. E-Bay has motors for sale at various competitive prices. They look the same, but my motor has 3 vertical pins on wiring plug. They all show just 1 vertical pin and 1 horizontal pin on the plug ! They therefore are no use to me. If I could acquire a motor reasonably priced that is the right one, I would consider changing mine for reliability, peace of mind and hopefully not having to take the arch protector out again ! Really inconveniently placed for accessibility ! Everything looked clean and tidy, wires and connectors were clean and totally corrosion free. I disturbed nothing to do with the washer, replacing the arch protector, so what has happened to my rear screen. Its not a blocked jet and it was working perfectly, not essential, but strange !
Have lost discussion information from on previous correspondence. Someone mentioned they might have one, but I have lost that information. Help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
