  1. This is a fair point mate. I might just go and get the lambda sensor changed and head back to John Sleaths, if I can ever get him to answer the bloody phone that is. Since I have replaced the sparks, cleaned the maf and changed the air filter it has felt a lot better than before and then when the zorst went on pulled like a train. Be nice to get it on paper though Dropped the price on here and ebay now under £4k, should get me a bit more interest hopefully Really! That was bloody cheap then mate. What is your mileage fella?
  2. Cheers for the offer fella but at the moment ill leave it as is Spoiler is tigersealed onto the boot lid would have to do a full boot swap and I ain't doing that again in a hurry fella. Was an all day ball ache of a job Plus I don't think I would get the value back cos a lot of the mods are better as a whole than separate. Breakdown would have to be like this. £200 skirts £150 valance and bumper £180 valance and bumper including tinted rear fogs £295 spoiler Rear lights £100 £500 alloys And then the car would be £2300 at the most with out those mods Then I would have to fork out whatever to replace the bumpers and rear lights. Would lose out breaking it dude
  3. Can't strip it mate everything is bonded on with tigerseal plus old spoilers gone now aswell
  4. Loads of views and ten watchers But no messages or interest so Far. Haven't priced it too high have I?
  5. Sounds like an airlock Mate. Check the guide I made fella about bleeding the system on the common issues thread. Tells you how to get rid of air locks
  6. I've thought about it long and hard. Discussed it with the mrs and a few other people in detail and I know the risks involved moving to the faff but I am sure I am doing the right thing fella.
  7. Now on the bay Toyota Celica T Sport VVTLI - Modified - GT Replica http://bit.ly/179N797
  8. Yea just saw that Dan not been on supra forum but will pop on tomorrow to thank everyone for their help and stuff Just love the way the faff sticks to the road even under hard acceleration even on bends its amazing
  9. Thanks guys appreciate all the advice and opinions Bill leave it alone haha. It's mine
  10. my preference would be ash's WRC to be honest and if I had the money now I would be making him a firm offer for the asking price if I could right this minute haha. Hope the viewing doesnt go well he has this week
  11. Thought about it matey yea but i know I deffo want the turbo in my life Yours is one of the cars I have used for inspiration though fella its a beaut True fella but thats what this place is all about dude, opinions
  12. Can see where you are coming from though dude, it is a lot more basic than the 7 interior and feels quite dated in many respects. Something to work on though eh
  13. bloody hell theyre a bit marmite fella haha even for me and I love Purple. Yea in essence that makes a lot of sense dude, but feeling it was something else, if you have never been in one I urge you to get in and try it!
  14. Just got to sell mine first bud but asap really Cheers Ryan I actually disagree on the front grille I like it. The 7 is a better looking machine I wont argue that to be totally honest but the overall machine is better with the faff, something I wouldnt ever have admitted until last night to be honest. I do think the back end of one with late spec jdm rears and black number plate panel looks awesome!
  15. Bloody hell haha. Cheers John will have a look through those on my dinner Asked ash about his but he's got a viewing this week
  16. Tom Brady is looking into making the headlight projector lenses for a lot less than those and I have seen the initial moulds and they look good I have a budget of around £3k with some left for modding. Clocks and centre console would take up a portion of that, I am aiming for £4k for mine which leaves plenty for small mods (and some decorating for the house - our lasses orders ) Ideally would like a private plate but it is not absolutely vital but would be nice. That white ST205 is the exact look I am hoping for (minus the green wheels ) Got to say Toms seats were a lot comfier than mine and the ride comfort was an improvement as well if I am totally honest.
  17. Cheers Steve, I would want one with original parts and I am not overly fussed about any mechanical mods, except a dump valve of course, got to love a dump valve If you wouldnt mind asking Simon for me that would be great fella thanks. Mike, again mate I totally get what you're saying, the interior is definitely not up to the standard of the gen 7 and it is something I would be looking to have a look at pretty much straight away, one of the first things I would do definitely. The thing is I have had 2 gen 7's now a 140 and a 190. I love my 7 dont get me wrong but when you get that itch to look elsewhere you know its kind of the time to be going. The Supra is a beautiful machine and if it was 4wd it would be a much easier choice. The RWD element worries me on the Supra quite a bit and after driving the faff and how it feels, handling is epic trust me makes mine feel like its going to roll over and usually mine feels like its sticking to the road. I know I have said I am not a power monger but I would want to go backwards in power than the 190 and I love being part of this club fully If I keep the 7 I will want to blow big money. Stage 2 cams, BBK, White wrap or respray, coilovers, strut braces all round and all that we are looking at near on £3k for top notch stuff. And I will still only have about 180-190bhp wheras in the faff I will have about 260-300 with a variable boost controller if i wanted to for £50 or so according to Tom. And I can only fit 4 people in the 7, Me, Our lass and 3 kids doesnt go into 4 the faff has 5 seats so would cover that base aswell. We had an arrangement with our lasses mum to borrow her car if needs be and I would have done it if we had to but you know wouldnt you rather not have that hassle if you can avoid it What I wont be doing is going for power mods or massive engine mods, the stock WRC has plenty for what I want one for. I drive 6 miles a day to work and back and dont really go all that far at the weekends as our lass works most weekends. So running costs would be a little higher but not cripplingly more so. Insurance would be about the same, Road Tax is cheaper than the 7 as it falls under the old taxing system being pre 2001. As long as the fig 8's and super strut has been replaced then I am happy, according to Tom, so this could be his view on it only as long as the engine has been well maintained then it should go forever so I would be happier with a stock engined WRC if I could find one in budget but more importantly one that has been well looked after so one off here or the GT4OC would be ideal. And I am in no massive rush I know it is a risk but I am at a point now where I would like an upgrade. I have had to explain all this to our lass aswell she understands now and I suppose If I was explaining this face to face with everyone they would get it a bit more cos "on paper" I can see how this just comes across as finding excuses. I wont be the first 7 to GT4 member on here and as far as I can tell not one of them regrets it
  18. http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/classifieds/item/683-st205-celica-wrc-gt4/'%20title='St205%20Celica%20Wrc%20Gt4 Asked about this one
  19. Yea seen that one Johnny earlier its lovely but just out my price range by about £2k lol. Saw the other one too Tom but would want the 2 post spoiler and not have to do any filler work for the 3rd post hole Mike I think you were right mate. I think I just wanted a change to be honest. I love my 7 and can easily say its the best car I've ever owned but the time for a change has got hold of me. Good thing is I will be sticking with celicas though so you won't be rid of me
  20. That 4wd system is epic. Grip is insane Sorry JPow I love supras you know I do but that drive has swung it for me I'm afraid. It felt pretty quick behind the wheel and as a passenger mate Loved it.
  21. Tom Brady mate what a machine. Didn't believe the hype but Christ almighty i do now Thanks Tom you're a star.
  22. Erm. Fook me. That is epically awesome. Fast as hell and no body roll at all. That was amazing. I am sold. Faff it is
  23. Haha Myk is kinda right on that and so is Tom Next thing I would do would want to be a white wrap at nearly a grand and I just think that would be a bit of a waste at this point now. Looking at the supra the NA is the only one I could afford to buy and the near on 400hp at the rears would scare me shitless on a twin turbo so go in the middle at 4wd 255bhp in white AND its still a Celica kind of makes a lot of sense If I don't like the faff I think I have kinda given up on the supras as they're too far away and a little bit tatty now in my price range. I will go for the white wrap and run the celi into the ground
