  2. yep had some tool trying to race me thru bradford at 8.30 in the morning, when i was taking the kids to school, he was in a golf gti, put my foot down for a few seconds and watched him tear ass to next set of lights and slam on the anchors.

  4. no idea how much they are worth but what were u thinking, defo interested. dibbs if affordable
  5. this is my other option but thought i would check if anyone on here could possibly mould some, mite be good for a group buy
  6. while i love the look of my 03 t sport, one thing thats lets it down is the big gaping holes for the fog lights. now i have seen someone on here who covered the holes with mesh, but my fog lights seem to protrude through the holes slightly. has anyone seen anything like a plastic moulded piece that would slot into the hole allowing the fog light to look like it is surrounded by the plastic infill. not a great description i know, but saw a fiesta the other night and the fog surrounds looked good. if they are not available is anyone on here capable of making these.
  7. just had the tracking done on mine, and garage told me one of the rear tyres was a runflat, not designed for a celica cos no warning sensor on dashboard. told me if i got a puncture i mite not realise but said if u went on m way and got some speed up, would likely blow out. im considering spending a bit more than planned on new tyres, after reading this. whats a few extra quid compared to safety.
  8. cheers, will have to put this on hold as my workhorse (mondeo for work) needs new clutch and flywheel doing. fooking hydraulics went last night on my way home. left me stuck. so thats gonna be about £700. tax man wants paying at the end of the month and work is always quiet this time of yr. so gonna get some cash built up, and will have to book some time off work and arrange to take a trip to lincoln,
  9. where did u get the blue needles from?
  10. i know what type of dial i want , but want to get ideas of how they look lit up, and what colours would work best. thinking the blue but would have to change the needles and all dash board lights to match up, ie clock, stereo etc.
  11. i requested this in dial kit for t sport, so there are some pics on there but i dont know how to transfer them onto this thread, good idea, cos im looking at a few but not sure what to go for.
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-CELICA-2000-ON-160MPH-PLASMA-GLOW-DIAL-KIT-/250704438034?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a5f262312 has any body used these dials, seems an easier job to to, but easier isnt always best.
  13. Whoever ordered the tsport dials from skewer, dont suppose u have any pics of them lit up, also how hard was fitting new leds.
  14. think this dealer has a few leons, and mixed up the specs, wheels look they would be worth a few quid, but cant see em properly on pic,
  15. donor car on ebay £299 gen 6 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1994-TOYOTA-CELICA-2-0-GT-SILVER-HPI-CLEAR-PX-CLEARANCE-299-/130617335877?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1e69666045
  16. tried using my sat nav, last week and it wouldn't charge so tried cig lighter and that wouldn't heat up, changed lighter inner from another console and checked wiring, all intact and plugged in. the actual lighter bit does push and hold in the recess but does not heat up at all, is this likely to be a fuse or does anyone know of other faults with this.
  17. dont panic j03, im happy with the pirelli, but looking at the posts, i will look at the other options now. the car is not driven hard so looking for a good lasting tyre. will those nangkangs get you to yorkshire, lol
  18. Does anyone have an opinion on best option tyre for my 03 T Sport, currently looking at Pirelli, Bridgestone and Continental.
  19. good luck mate, i work in a field dealing with lots of elderly and see many who have had a stroke, many of them recover to some degree but it can be a slow process, so hang in there mate. also deal with mobility products, so dont rush into buying at top price, if u need anything hold out, they will drop prices (tell em your shopping for best deal and geting plenty of quotes.).
  20. my old plate was UT05SER, couldn't sell it sell though.
  21. was looking at a private reg for myself but was too expensive. so i have changed my name to RY03XHF, now my name matches my plate exactly.
  22. i was gonna stick my new ones on but because the holes were already there i opted to screw in, mine doesnt have the black plate holder on front and curve of front bumper will pull a straight plate away from the sticker, the back should be ok, as it is flat, if your gonna stick em i would try and mould/bend the front plate to try and get it curved to fit flush to the front bumper.
