    do alloys have a paint code, just in the process of getting my wheels resprayed but wondered if there is a paint code for alloy silver.?

    Finished. Car lowered on jo3's old eibachs. Seats being refurbed this weekend, tech 5's are sanded and filled just need paint, then to find some new tyres, going for 215 45 17s.

    looks 100% better, ride, mmm not sure i can feel much difference, does feel firmer hitting the pot holes, not pushed it yet, just looking at some new rubber. , getting out of the car is more of a struggle, this is where i notice the difference. will get pic up shortly

    yeah guy at the garage took a while with the airgun, so we had no chance of moving it, just glad we managed to get it back on ,lol. gonna wait for tom to try his,,, you coming to watch. (this should be interesting)

    all finished, ended up at silver surfer's pal. in sherburn in elmet. about an hour and £40 to do the rear. just a tip for anyone planning to lower car. the rear top bolt holding the bell housing, is on tight. even the airgun struggled. if you do attempt this yourself, make sure you have a local garage who could get an airgun on the bolt will save a lot of time.

    dont worry about it, at least we got the bumper on, its been in the garage since january, and i can get the back sound proofed with all the plastic out. think someone else said windy gun needed, so i will have a word with garage i use everything is now stripped ready.

    cheers, mite try loose some squeaks, it was quieter without all the plastics in. but also put some duck tape on the hook for the boot catch. cheers wayne for today, that back one was a bitch, bet your knackered , i am, and i only passed you a few spanners.

    yep, if you had kept the bell housing on the dampers, it would have been done today, i'll put a pic up tomorrow. where did u get the sound proofing, mite get that done while boot is stripped of plastic.

    it would be rude not to have a beer sat aft. there is a screwfix on manchester rd bradford. will be passing it tomorrow, so unless somone(hint hint) has some on offer tonight i will get some tomorrow.
