it sounds like you starter motor isnt engaging. i would take it off i check to see if the startmotor teeth a rounded off. good luck

well the comments have confirned it im nutts lol. i had a good look at the gen5 today and i have four hours of welding and bodywork to do. all the brakes need doing plus the engine needs sorting so wish me luck im going to need it.

hi all, well last month i bought a 1990 gen 5 that has a problems ie over heating and bodywork, brakes, wheels, tyres, so on and forth. how ever this hasnt put me off these great cars as i have just got a gen 6. do you think theres any hope for me lol.. i will add pics asap jackie boy.
