  18. Would just like to say a huge fankoooo to Paul aka: GTSillycar! your work today has made me fall in love with my 190 TS all over again because I can now stop on a dime! I set off from my place in Seaford at 08:05 to be at GT's mum's house for 09:00, TomTom said it was 48.2 miles and would take 1hr 5mins. Now I don't know how but I managed to get there at 08:50........ must have gone through some sort of time warp we had to take a trip down to halfrauds to get some brake cleaner, so off we rolled with Adam stuffed in the back (bless him) picked up the cleaner so back we went, only cost £5.49p to Got back and was now on a time limit as GT needed to get to Mr.T to collect his new wheel studs, so we cracked on with the job in hand. wheels of in a jiffy and brakes cleaned up ready to go on, callipers off, old pads out and old disks off. so we got the drivers front brakes on with no fuss what so ever. moved to D/rear and we got stumped with whether to put the original shim on with the heat pad that came with the Red Stuff's due to them not slipping in easily, but we went with it and got them in. passenger rear was also easy, even made GT say he liked working on my 7, well that comment came back to bite us in the ass! P/front is where we had the problems. pads and disks went on fine, but the lower carrier bolt would not budge, no nothing, NOWT. so we was at 11:45 and decided to set off to Mr.T to get GT's wheel studs, and may I say that GT4 is immense! the sound of the turbo spooling up and bang! away we went at a great rate of knots, bbbbbbbbbbrrrrrr gear change and I cream all over GT's leathers at the sound of the wastegate! very Nom Nom indeed! so we hurried back, mainly due to the fact of GT's heavy foot (and I was not complaining one bit) we caked the carrier bolt with shed loads of good old WD40, and eventually it stated moving, thank god! so we was complete, a quick burn to get things bedding in, and I was set for fun , got back and re-adjusted my hand brake as it was feeling a little loose, but not anymore. fitted the new TRD sunstrip, after a little work we got it sorted. so now I'm happy as a pig in dog toffee as I can stop with confidence again, well in fact I can stop better than I ever thought I would! I can't thank GTsillycar enough for his work today! Top Man and a true gem in the forum!!! I will be bearing gift's for you and your GT4
  19. Brakes fitted and working absolutely perfect!! Huge thanks to GTsillycar for your hard work, Adam for making the brew's and a cracking home made pizza, Mummy GTsillycar for the driveway, and MR.T for giving GT a reason to take me out in the new GT4 (but i will not be turned)
  20. well that makes me feel a bit better
  21. who ever it was, I did have a sticky moment!
  22. I also heard that Red's were the ones to have  I do hope this is not the case, coz I love late braking, but I dont want to kill myself coz they are cold....
  23. GTsillycar and myself are fitting my new disks and pads tomorrow and I would like to know if there is anything I could do to help bed them in. M-Tec disks and Red Stuff pads are going onto my baby so I'll be able to stop again
