  5. Cool. Early start then. Nice one, cheers Arizona
  6. Hi guys, I'm shortly going to be chucking her in for the MOT. I have replaced the engine, exhaust, suspension, brakes, pretty much everything really and am concerned regarding emissions. She currently sits there without the battery plugged in as it soon runs flat. Regarding the ECU and how long it takes to settle I was going to warm the car up the night before leaving her on tick over and will then leave the battery on and then drive down in the morning. The local garage is only a mile away. She has no tax or MOT and is currently SORN. I don't want to go driving her about beforehand as its illegal and where I live has a busy police station and I am that unlucky. Just wondering how long the ECU takes to sort its life out and will it do it being revved a few times on my driveway? Many thanks for any suggestions. It's taken a year to rebuild so. Really want to pass this Oh. It's a Gen5 ST182 if it makes any odds
  7. Done a few trips in the old Gen5. Scotland, South of France, Germany, Austria.... Fair few over the past 10 odd years.
  8. Got the halfords 5ek jobby. Doesn't seem toooo bad.
  9. Cool. Thanks for the info Dan. I will get the better half to pick some up on her way home. Give me something to do
  10. Cool. I will give em all a ring around then. There is one nearby that I have just seen didn't know if there might be anyone the club tends to use for this sort if thing
  11. Has or does anyone have any details for any companies that supply paint coded aerosols that are cheaper than halfords? Got some tarting up to do shortly but I'm skit so looking to save cash wherever possible. Cheers,
  12. If the crap I empty out of mine is anything to go by..... Definatley a good thing
  13. I got home aNd dug out me instructions.... And you fixed it good to hear its sorted. I'm now off to tidy up the mess I made finding em :D I was sort of right if I had read your first post properly.... You can put it into valet mode
  14. Nah. It would have been in valet mode before. From memory try pressing the two small buttons together or it could be the big one with one of the smaller. If you google arrow alarm I think you can still get the instal sheets. I not and you can wait till Saturday when I get home I can let you know as in away at the moment
  15. Could be. Im not sure. Will have a google later and see what I can find
  16. Probably off the car do you don't get flat spots and at pressure indoors. I have not done any of the above I will just use these for storing the car over winter do not fear peeps I will sort out my other alloys first and deal with the winter ones at a later date. Thank for the info. I have a tyre fetish so it'll give me something to look at
  17. Yeah it's all good. I will keep em on the car for now while it's stood still and for when I refurb the other alloys. Three sets of alloys an none of them have decent tyres.... Balls Burnouts on the driveway it is
  18. Cool cheers guys. New tyres when they were put on. I'll just have I do lots of wheelspins on the drive to get some use out of them
  19. Hi guys, I have two tyres that have perish cracks in between the tread. I'm guessing these are not safe and will not pass an MOT?.... Cheers,
  20. Keep the 6 and save your cash. Engine goes pop look for a new car or just drop a 2nd hand engine in. I'd go for the second option personally. Get a new lump for around the £200 mark. Just done it in mine. The liquids cost almost as much as the engine I'm crap at math but how much is a new car going to cost when averaged against the difference in fuel spend? Plus your car looks pretty good for a Gen6 how much would it take to get a Gen7 looking as good?.... Squillions :D But if you really want a new car go for it.
  21. Awesome. Thanks everyone Saved some moeny for once
  22. Cool. Hopefully look a little less balloon like
  23. Nice one bit of old school tri spokes going on. Didn't want to spend anymore money on new tyres Cheers,
  24. Hi, I have Aquired some new rims that are 15" same as I have already but are 1" wider. My tyres are 205/55/15 and just wondering if stretching an inch would be ok? Cheers,
