Thanks Harv
My DIY stills are awful so best not to try it my self
For a quote from a local ish firm for £133 plus vat they would be using 3m branded wrap
Anyone happen to know if this is a good price or good product ?
Thanks

Hi all
My bonnet is stone chipped so needs either respraying or wrapping and I'm assuming wrapping will be cheaper.
The Gen7 in this advert is the same colour as mine and I think the effect looks awesome.
2 questions:
1, The wrap is cheap enough but how much is fitting likely to cost ?
2, Does anyone know of a fitter in the northwest ?
Thanks guys

I'd say wrap it... However that's because I'm thinking of getting mine wrapped for the same reason so you'd be blazing a trail for me to follow :-)

The difference being the bandit is still perfect and the vauxhall will have one or all of the following issues:
• engine waning light on and dealer can reset but not explain it
• water getting in via boot or windscreen
• a fuse which blows every 3 weeks
• an abs system which Kick in at random
Me, the wife and the father in law all ha vauxhalls of different models and ages and all got the same faults
By comparison
My 2000 140 with 105k on the clock is fine as is my 2003 Honda hornet

One year and Planning to run it until it explodes, becomes so rusty the wheels won't turn... Or the worlds supply of petrol runs out
I hope to keep my gen7 so long that it becomes a classic

I'm in the same boat, the wrap might be a good idea instead though
How much would it cost to get the bonnet wrapped and how good a colour match would it be ?
Wrapping it up....

Thanks guys
I might try a d bargain with them a bit because they are local and I'd loose £30 quid in fuel driving to Manchester or somewhere
I'd love to have the skills to try it myself but honestly I am useles with my hands, I'd end up making a huge mess and wasting a million pounds in wrap
Cheers for the info all
