ot sure what the 1.8s go for but I just sold a 96 GT with 5 months tax, 4 months MOT springs, new tyres and rear brace for £770
-
I will have all the details up in the next few days buddy, still sorting the date and price to give everyone the best value possible
-
Working on it dude along with PPC at Mallory in MayHOU when is the next one?
As David said, a good mixture is most likely the best way for a track day. Blyton is a cracking track for beginners plus gives plenty of space for overtaking
-
I am not a fan of show track days due to the 'heroes' you get that have never been on track but go full on from the start. The only way I do it is like at PPC in the park where we are arranging a club only session.
If you do do it make sure you just take it at your own pace, give the person in front plenty of space unless you are overtaking of course and keep checking your mirrors for people wanting to overtake you

I have that one, cracking bit of kit and lightweight so perfect for track use. Works well too, lifts the rear of the car with ease (Could have gone plenty higher too:
-
What's your budget? Mine has been on track a couple of times with only a few mods, great fun and handled it well
-
Ewwwww no, I am straight! OH YES I WENT THEREGEN 7
-
As said, £121 for the 6 months as I will be doing mine tomorrow

Spot only does flocking when it suits him though, he picks and chooses the time of year to offer his services. I used a place in leeds to get my A pillars done in black 1mm flock. Alll parts really have to be removed from the car for flocking. My guy charged £15 for a normal A pillar and £20 for one with a triple gauge pod in it. He did a very good job though.
I would buy a second hand dash from AMS, get it flocked then just swap your old one out. That way you dont have to worry about the car being off of the road. No idea what a dash would cost, maybe £100+ but they can have it done in 48 hours no probs.
We might have to talk next year if I decide on a dash flock

Yey for me being righthorrible to read this but even before you said it i was certain it was a 3sfe engine
what Hou says is your best bet and will probably lower your insurance too, you can pick up a half decent GT for between £400-£800 which is going to be around the same as either replaceing the 3sfe engine or the minimum to upgrade to a 3sge
to up grade to the 3sge engine you need a complete engine, loom, ecu, clocks you will probably be better at that point fitting the GT discs and callipers etc.........which is why Hou is right
You should buy my GT, I give you good price looky looky
-
Not good, big puddles can cause all sorts of issues from hydrolock and the sudden decrease in wheel speed etc
As for changing to a 3SGE, it might be easier to buy a GT and transfer over any bits then break/scrap yours
-
ok, got these today, fitted them and as luck would have it, it pissed it down just a bit later so they had a good test.... worked well, good clear screen, only bad side they look cheap (but then again they are)...
Glad they work well for you Tony, although you care that they look cheap?

If the stick on weights weren't on a clean surface they can come off quite soon
-
On the motorway of course If it goes when you go quicker it will be that I hope
-
Does it go once you go over 60? If so it will more than likely be balance
-
Something a little more durable is better so just an out and out wax really. I still have some wax on sale (Banana armour would look great on your motor) or get on ebay and buy some Harly Wax, it is fantastic and great value for money
-
Any normal wax dude, a couple of layers will be totally fine

Getting a little bored of these threads, there is something magical called Google. If you go to that site and type in what you want to know it gives you an answer
-
-
Did you not take regular backups of the site?
-
Would have offered dude but away this weekend

They are making a right mess of that junction, and for no real reason! There was far worse roads they could be sorting around Morley!
