Hi guys I have a rounded bolt on one of my rear Calipers, it's the bottom one of the two back bolts that remove the caplier It's so rounded I the socket just spins and I made it worse using a long breaker bar So what's the best way to remove it and how? Thanks

i got that far on 2 wheels and they spun freely so will check the other side when i get it back out the garage next week is the clutch adjustable? i have just found out the car has been sat for at least 5 years so is it possible the clutch could have surface rust on like the brakes as these are bad

I can roll the car forward by pushing so bot sure anything is seized causing the struggle to pull away but a rear tyre is flat bite point is right at the top of the pedal too so not sure about ABS light, could this be a dead sensor?

Hi Guys, My gen 6 GT i bought on ebay was delivered by the recovery truck last night, fist thing i notice is the ABS light is on and the discs are rusty as its been sitting over winter maybe longer. it really struggles to pull off or drive at all so at first i thought the clutch was gone now i am thinking its the rust on the discs but i took it up the road and did not think i would make it back, also a smell of burning someone said i could be surface rust on the clutch and just need freeing up, same with the hand brake ? i cant really drive it about as of no MOT or tax & insurance at the moment also would the rust cause ABS light to be on

There is a body repair course in London available that includes spraying, can't remember where though If I remember tomorrow I will have a look, it was an evening course at a college, they also had a 3 day a week one but as you work that's not possible

Yes that's it about half to one second delay but myne has got worse since putting the HKS on, is yours just up to 3rd gear then not so bad. Do you think upgrading the panel filter will make this better or worse?

I've had the car 4 months, so had nothing done yet not even a service which i will get soon. The jolt Is not bad just annoying that it's not smooth when letting off. Is everyone elses smooth when taking your foot off in second gear at about 3k

Last week I notched a slight jolt when lifting off in 2nd Put a HKS silent power exhaust on at the weekend and all this week it seems much worse Mainly notice it up to 3rd gear, when letting the accelerator up there is about a second delay then it jolts....it might be that the exhaust has put a slight delay to the revs slowing the car down Any one else get the jolting, is it normal I always use the gears to slow down so I am sure I would have noticed before Timing belt Is very noisy latley and squeaking so could it be that too as I read that can cause a jolt. I dont really like the lip either, makes them look smaller too. But i do really like the gloss white and spoke style smooth look is good...the way forward actually i think, nothing wrong with a small bit of rally shlaaaag though....exept from those stupid flappy mud flaps people stick on

Could be a scam, I found one like that on pistonheads, I emailed the seller and they said they was in australia on a business trip and need the money to finance it further, they then said piston heads are holding the car and once I pay the car will be delivered to my house with 24 hours to return it if I am unhappy Yea rite Best way to find out is contact them and see if they will actually let you veiw the car if not it's a scam If it's too good to be true....usually is Or it's done near 200k miles
