Nooo! Link won't work! I wanna see the freak!
The Link worked! ... I saw the freak! ... Im going to find somewhere quiet and lie down away from mankind and contemplate my actions! ... why, oh why, did I do it ?
And pic number 4! is it just me or does it look like dogtanian from the muskahounds ?

Heres a pic of the GSXr 750 Rep and someone already transferred the rep idea to a car albeit Suzuki powered.
obviously I want to stick to the predominantly white colour scheme as in the suzuki, although it occurs to me it may look good based on the red on black or black on red if anyone fancies it lol, may even start a trend.
But now its getting out of hand because having discovered Yamaha had a bit to do with the Celica engine ... that also brings the Yamaha colour schemes in to play ... oh my head hurts

Ah well there ya go ... black swan ? ... can you imagine if I had to take one of these Ink blot evaluation tests ... they'd lock me up for sure lol.
-
Today I received my Club Membership Pack ... Im intrigued by the 'Carbon look' symbol (looks a bit like a black swan, in my head anyway),that's on it ... can anyone tell me what it is ... first time I've ever seen it and I assume its something to do with Toyota, Celica, etc

Get a high level spoiler, maybe a GT4 bumper and bonnet then get that colour scheme done. I think it would look great!
wouldn't it just .... but I haven't seen a bonnet for less than £200, nay mind bumper and high level spoiler and the bumper and spoiler would need to be white or there's the added expense of spraying prior to the vinyl .... and at the end of the day its 'only'(in inverted comma's so as not to offend anyone with a lookalike)a GT4 lookalike then, rather actually do it to a GT4 if I was thinking that route but finances certainly wont stretch to that at the moment.

At the risk of going against the grain, I really don't like that. I think the Castrol stickers look far better. But...hope I'm wrong, things in real life always look better than a quick MS paint job don't they! Good luck with it.
Boo, Hiss, shame on you, roflmao .... Nah ... ALL comments appreciated m8, I'll be honest I'm really surprised at the positive reaction so far.
I do like the Castrol and considered it, but again, its already been done, Im after something that will hopefully make people stop for a second and think 'Hey, that's different'

Well think it looks cool ie the colours the scheme suits the car etc.....but as also a biker the #7 & that scheme should only be on a bike
That said probalby only bikers/shene fans would even realize & it does look cool
just an my personal opinion you understand
Know exactly what you mean which is why I chose A 7 rather than THE 7 lol
I like the look of that Steve, not sure what lines you would follow for the yellow on the nose, but the bonnet and spoiler look really nice
was thinking of following the lines around the recess for the main beam then run over to meet the bottom of the recess for high beam then along the line on the bumper where it actually begins to drop rather than slope ... if that makes sense lol
-
well spotted, thing is if I followed the BTCC colour scheme (which I'm not a real fan of)no one would realise what I've done, whereas the old heron suzuki colours are immediately recognisable, hence the 'tribute' rather than 'rep' .... 10/10 for checking that out though
-
So can I... once
lol ... thats funny that is ...
-
I like it, if you do it all in vinyl, you can always take it off again!
my thoughts exactly

Right ... having met some of the club and seen their cars, then seen the pics from RS, it occurs to me that a lot of what I'm thinking of doin to mine has already been done elsewhere black bonnet etc.
Soooooo ... at the risk of being banished from the club forever lol, can i ask your opinions ?
Firstly, as some of you know I'm also a biker, and a Huge Barry Sheene fan (pics in house, Sheene rep Arai helmet etc), ... well Barry also had a short stint in BTCC and he actually drove a Toyota ... (Bare with me I'm getting there).
What are your views on a 'Sheene Tribute' colour scheme, could it be pulled off ?
and as a final note would wearing my helmet when driving be taking things way too far (only joking lol)

One of the reasons for me was to do this was the HKS and the engine getting stupid hot, it also has dropped the temp on the gage by a notch or 2, also the manifold cover getting red hot and shafting the paint work! So painted it with hammeright red, 5 coats then with the toyota super red 2 - pic below resprayd after wrapping
Ive used Wilkinsons Multi surface Enamel Spray, which holds up quite well, and its an easy enough job to take the heat shield off once a month and re paint, cos it doesnt come off, just browns.
-
I may have to try this, not only for the exhaust gas exiting and under bonnet temps ... simply to stop the manifold heat plate turning brown and having to respray it every month, that should work if you can actually touch the pipes after a 15 min drive dont you think ?
-
With only the minor drawback that you can get pulled over if you have something capable of showing video which the driver can see while in motion, I think?
Hows that work with these DVD players that replace radio/Cd Players then ?
-
I read it wrong first and thought it said boogie boy, then opened the the link to see the 'Snot Rocket' lol.
-
must admit I've turned off the flashing swirly screen and set it to cover pics, but other thing is, if it doesnt bother you driving, passengers can watch a film if its a long journey lol

I struggle to get em a reasonable size, otherwise it wont let me upload em :-(

Bought a notepad car mount for a miserly £17 off ebay, the quality far exceeds the price so well chuffed which means I can now play my acer using windows media player, via one of those cassette adaptors, through the original Toyota cassette radio, and it sounds awesome, well happy :-)(now put bigger pics later in thread)

The 17" alloys they come with, would they fit the gen 6?
Just for a few days while I referb mine?
Be quick, bidding ends in 15!
for future reference this may come in handy, i saw the thread too late :-(
just type in the other cars details and check everything match's
-
yeah do you get the stickers from like red or blue?? i join a month ago and still not got mine
I joined end of March and haven't received my Members pack, but that's not a complaint, you have to remember these lads have day jobs too, and you only have to check how many members join daily to realise that's an administrative nightmare.
Mook at Skewer managed to get mine to me within a matter of days, and yes he can personalise them for just £6 a pair.

No ... not planning on tinting the windows, and the red symbol always shows which is actually what we all recognise lol ... recon they'll do the trick n let other members know I'm a fellow member of CCUK. :-)
