  1. niiiice, the previous owner of your car might of had some enemies. hope you bought the car from a nice distance from where you live
  2. haha well ill know where to send the next person who needs one. i could have a go, how about measuring the groove in the shaft? i would think it should probably be about 1mm bigger than the groove and loose to touch but not enough to come out of the groove. maybe in the 300 you could get an assortment of sizes around the size you need then find the best fit from there. just make sure you have a good way of testing that it well held on before clipping the boot on.
  3. seems i have some bad news mate, turns out the outer cv shouldnt be removed from the shaft as to replace them you need to buy a new shaft therefore the snap rings are not available seperately. maybe you could compare the snap ring with a company such as this - http://www.springmas...din-7993-a.html (think theres always going to be a minimum order though so you would end up with snap rings coming out of your ears) or maybe buy a couple of shafts from one of the breakers. its a strange one as i always thought the joint could be knocked of and replaced like on most other cars. hope this helps mate
  4. oo theres a gen 6 in stock cars section.......i have sat nav envy
  5. i have the random jap stickers on my windows and parking permits, also found a wiper motor and some satin black paint. havnt had a good look around yet though.
  6. i shall have a word with my mate in the morning and see what he can find. so is it the snap ring that holds the outer cv to the shaft that you need?

  11. my last celica was rediculously loud and passed less than a month ago, it is down to testers discretion and technically if they want to be harsh they can fail it on anything louder than the car was in standard form but most testers wont be that nasty
  12. see what i mean people? side repeaters and alloys(which will be replaced soon)? what else? the mudflaps off my gen6 found there way onto yours somehow....... anyway i love almost all celicas...would say i love them all but andy's is shit!
  13. an astra? awesome....not. thats what happens in workplaces pal i take the piss out of lad at work that drives a 7 and he takes piss out of me but the 6 definetly aint a hairdressers car!
  14. yeh i did some on a focus with the buffer and it works quite well, just dont go too hard and watch the edges of the paint around
  15. i wouldnt even bother sanding, i just use a decent medium compound and polish up afterwards, even standard stuff like g3 or t-cut will do just as good job as sanding if you put a bit of elbow grease.
  16. if the water is running down the centre of the ariel you wont have to remove it, just neatly fill it with silicone
