Is that just for your gen7 customers?
-
all my old cars i scrapped i had to pay for them to take them away (cue the s13 jokes)
Too easy.
-
£50-£100, depending on the company.
-
In an attempt to be semi-serious I think owners of the 190 are more concerned about lift bolts and oil consumption/engines blowing up and haven't noticed Brake master cylinder fluid leaks.
Was it something that was generaly faulty then fixed after the first month of ownership?
I'm sure they're more worried about what their hair looks like while crashing.

The 7 is the best looking Celica tho, closely followed by the six
I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Get rid. Cars are far cheaper in the US.
-
Some people call orange alloys "gunmetal gold". Quite popular on certain Subarus.
-
Surely speed is also measured in terms of revolutions of the wheels?
Otherwise how else is it measured?
It's measured the same way, the needle's just pointed a bit too high (or in the case of digital speedos, speed = realSpeed * 1.10).
-
Wow, people still buy EBC pads?
-
1. yes and 2. yes.
10% is the limit on the plus or minus side for the speedo. so the tacho could be out by the same amount.
Wrong. The mileage is spot on. The speedo is adjusted to be a certain margin above the speed to avoid any lawsuits in speeding cases ("My speedo said I was doing X") but the mileage is recorded in terms of revolutions of the wheels, so that actually changes if you put on different sizes wheels.

Legal but poor taste.

What mpg are you all getting on your convertibles ?
Mine is a gen 5 auto and I am getting around 18 round the doors does this sound right ?
I saw yours coughdrop in the gas conversion thread that you were getting 25 mpg but not sure if yours is manual or auto.
She's a manual. 18mpg sounds a bit poor. You should be getting over 20, at least.

It would open the floodgates for people, (as already started re: autos, for members wanting other specific forums? Turbo forum. Nitrous forum. Lagoon Blue Gen 7 forum.........
We already have a GT4 forum.
Same thing, IMHO. Is there such a harm in having another seperate forum to dealwith those issues? The vert drivers might become more active if they have a place to go to discuss their toplessness. If it proves to be impopular (gen 4 topic, anyone?) it could always be merged with existing forums.
Perhaps all the classifications need a re-jig? When I want to ask abouta mod, should it go in the mod forum, or the Gen-7 forum so as not to bore all the gen 1-6 owners? But hey, it's sort of audio related, so should it go in there? So let's just have one general discussion topic. Audio mods go in the Audio forum (which should really be a subforum of the mods forum, IMHO), other mods go in the mods forum, and generation specific things go in the generation specific forum. How is that confusing? :?

Toyo Proxes T1-S
Make and Model plus size of Tyre: See above, 215/40R17 & 235/40R17
Celica owned: 1991 ST182- Gen 5 GT
Type of driving: Mostly town, some motorway as wel
Type of driver: Shit.
Miles covered so far and wear rate: Doesn't seem that bad, though I don't drive that much.
Dry use: Terrific.
Wet use: Great, up to about 50mph, mostly due to wideness, I suspect.
Snow / Ice use: Fecking useless.
Noise: Not noticable thanks to my exhaust.
Overall opinion / comments / strengths / weaknesses: Quite good tyre for in the summer. Works in the winter, but loses grip very easily.
Price paid and from where: Came with the car. New about £70
Rating out of 10: 7.

That's my Celica, honest.
-
Isn't that 9 stories?
-
A Celica near some wild animals: lions, tigers, elephants, deer, hogs, highland cow, that sort of thing. Basically any animal kept in sort of park (petting zoo counts too).

For those who think it's a bit dark and me car is a bit hard to see:
-
That's the Arke Stadion, which are the grounds of FC Twente, which play in the Dutch equivalent to the Premiership.
The car's in the bottom left, just in case.
-
I call this null and void, because it has no scantly clad women in it.

I believe 'a windmill' neither is a challenge, as i come from suffolk where there are 5 within a few miles of where i grew up!
Stop gurning and go and take a picture of one, then. Just to embarrass Dublet, if nothing else.
Hell, I wouldn't know where the windmills are in the city I now live in. :S Plus, my car needs a thorough washing.
I do have pictures of other people's Celica near a windmill.
-
I vote for ... a WINDMILL!
Is that my cue?
How long does paperwork take to arrive....
