  1. Well I live across the road from a new school getting built, so that hasn't helped, I think swirls are damage to the laquer?
  2. That's just asking for trouble, i'd rather leave it to the experts, look what's happened when I just tried to wash the car normally, nevermind with one of those!
  3. Exactly, and now i've gave it fuckin swirls all over i'm absolutly devastated
  4. What is Stickerfix ? Just googled it, basically a sticker with your colour? I don't get it though, you can either have one line of a scratch, or cover it up with a sticker and have an even bigger line with the outline of the sticker? I'd rather just have the 1 tiny scratch line than that ^^^
  5. I'm not a fan of P-Zero's, i've got 2 on the front with ATLEAST 3mm tread left all over, and they really spin with anything more than 3/4 throttle in 2nd or 3rd gear and let's be honest it's only a 140 so it shouldn't be making P-Zero's spin...
  6. Cool, got myself one of those lambs wool mit things to hopefulyl reduce the amoutn of swirls i'll inevitabely put on it
  7. It's been 3 weeks since the car got sprayed and 2 weeks since it got all flat & polished gain by the shop. Starting to look a bit grubby now and the wax where the shop didn't buff us starting to show by White marks Will it be ok to give the car a quick wash but just with some g3 car shampoo nothing else?
  8. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, send it to the pro's. You'll thank yourself in the long run
  9. 2 screws just above the perspex stuff covering the dials? Nice one thanks
  10. Did he wrap that bit above the steering wheel or did he spray that ?
  11. lol no worries, as a guide, my bonnet needed taken down to the metal basically it had that many stone chips and some were deep as fook, and he charged me £80 but only because I was getting other stuff done aswell. If you're going to get one thing and in the future wanna get more, it ends up saving you money in the long run if you get them all done together if you can afford the single big hit
  12. £1-200 JUST for a bonnet!? You getting it painted in gold!? You usually pay around £70-90 per panel depending how many things you get done at once. As previously said, the only way is a respray really as you don't want to be touching up every chip as I bet like mine there will be hundreds. I too have just had a respray and absolutly love the car now.
  13. We've had these vans around here for ages? Am I missing something new ?
  14. I could list a few things but they're nothing that won't be changed in due course
  15. Yea I don't really like it either, abit more orange/yellow would have been better than off-gold But, hey it's his money and his car so he can and did do WTF he wants
  16. A wrap is not as shiney as real carbon, they have a very dry/matte look too them, if you can afford it i'd go real carbon
  17. The amount of pics of Celica's and GTR's and I can't find 2 at a similar angle to replace the bumper so we can see what it looks like with more Celica in the pic!
  18. It's a shame the GTR is about 2 car lengths wider, because that looks pretty damn good! Obviously lose the GTR badge though...
  19. I have to admit I never printed off the reciept and i've drove past loads of tax disc checker cars and i've bought mine online every year. Even if you did get pulled by the cops and you showed them the reciept they probably would still phone up to check it's not fake. I'm saving the planet 1 piece of paper at a time (lol)
  20. Also mass respect for him for the white tuex/suit, I was the only one who turned up in white for our Prom aswell.
  21. Looking good mate congrats, lol. Reminds me of my prom arriving in a Skyline
  22. I know how you feel, they're building a school OPPOSITE my house, so you can imagine how much dust my car gets covered in
