Here you go guys;
store.ledmod.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=39_40&products_id=18
I'm on my phone so the link may need to be copied and pasted
Balls Steve got there before me

sweet , good luck changing that lot out , hope you have more luck getting the rear gearbox mount bolts back in than i did, took me forever
I'm not gonna be doing it - it's straight to the garage for it to be their problem
cigarette lighter LED
Looks good Lights up more than my red one, I think
Got a bargain off eBay:
Anyone need a breather, VSV or MAF sensor? These came with it too

I get this all the time at work, funnily enough from an Corsa VXR ower, says my T Sport is slow and looks like a rudeboy car and that his stage 1 VXR will dust it anytime of the week....
I just show him this video.... not rly a dusting is it ? lol
lol, it took FOREVER for that VXR to overtake. Top end of 4th gear it sounded like?
Considering it's FI and has a couple of more horses then us I'd of expected it to give a bit more oomph
Ah well, here's to having a 190
-
Oh, ok. In that case ignore my comment

Along with the split, that second tube underneath the hose needs to have a blanking plug on it as it's letting in unfiltered air into the induction pipe
All the best with a fix though. Not good to see something like this break within two weeks!

I'm running Brisk Racing DOR15LGS plugs in my T-Sport
-
this works on a multitude of things, not limited to electrics and including people.
Ah the world of Steve. An interesting, colourful and occasionally questionable place to be!
-
Make sure you lick the connection to make sure it's got an active current going through it before you fit them

I had the 9 SMD 501 LED bulbs on my 140, coupled with the £28 HID kit from londoncolour and they matched together really well. The smaller 5 SMD LEDs I've got lighting up my rear reg plate as the 9 SMD ones didn't really fit
Also, you may need to pick up on some H7 bulb holders if you haven't already, otherwise the HID bulbs will be a bit wobbly. £7 from eBay

Lovely jubley
Got some 4300k's on my Christmas list. I always thought they were a lot 'yellower' than they actually are (like the 3000k's)

-
The one's I had in my 140 were 35w, perfect amount of light and considerably brighter than non-HID bulbs. I imagine 55w's in your dipped beams would set fire to the road lol
-
Fantastic guide mate, I had HIDs on my 140 but went away from them on my 190 due to the new MOT regulation (which apparently isn't being enforced anyway!)
I miss my HIDs. I'm tempted to get some more as it's an excellent mod for under £40. I also always wanted to know how to get ride of the little "spots", as I can kind of see them with my MTEC's in, so I'll know I get them with HIDs in
6000k ftw!

Thanks dude, will give that a go

What's that attached to the Lego brick?
Festoon bulb spring adaptor. Compresses to fit into different sized festoon bulb-based fittings.
The Lego brick also glows in the dark, when attached to a power supply. I'm using it as an interior light

A few bits and bobs to keep me busy over the weekend

Nothing major, started to replace some of the hoses with some yellow Silicon ones.. Delivered and fitted tday.
Looking great mate. What size hoses did you get? I've been looking into replacing my boring black hoses with red fancy ones, but I'm stumped as to what sizes I need!

I've wrapped a few bits with said cheapy stuff from eBay and it came out pretty well. Corners are difficult to navigate as you've got to heat and flex the wrap so it's all flush with curves without scrunching up as it tries to do
As the centre console is fairly flat (albeit curver where the gear lever and ashtray holder is) you should be fine to have a crack at it. The wrap can be taken off and re-applied a number of times before it starts loosing it's tack (obviously as long as the part is wiped down and cleaned beforehand) so don't be afraid to re-apply certain areas if they're not spot on
The Hexis wrap (and other branded ones) are bubble-free, meaning air bubbles are resistant to form while you apply it which is why they're recommended
The cheaper stuff on eBay (unless specifically listed as such) don't have this tech, and will form bubbles from time to time. Either heat it up and re-apply, or get a pin and pop the bubble before pressing the wrap down properly
I've done my interior light and sun visor mirror 'lid' things in carbon wrap I got off eBay, they look pretty good although by no means perfect. I'd take them off and do it again if I could be bothered
Taking it to the next step soon anyway and will be skinning various parts in real carbon fibre, but that's a different story to wrapping

Wind deflectors, thanks to shocks;

Hi mate, give us a clicky for the mesh, i've been thinking about this for weeks now, but never got round to it, you're inspiring me now!
I have a sheet and a half left which is more than enough to do the large lower grille and the smaller top grille if you fancy it?
-
AutoGlym car care kit:
Sheet of mesh to repair my first custom grill attempt:
Replacement digital climate control board;
More stuff in the way but its not arrived, so it doesn't qualify to be posted in this thread yet
Got a busy few days ahead full of tweaking
