  1. sweet , good luck changing that lot out , hope you have more luck getting the rear gearbox mount bolts back in than i did, took me forever

I'm not gonna be doing it - it's straight to the garage for it to be their problem

    cigarette lighter LED :D

Looks good  Lights up more than my red one, I think

    Got a bargain off eBay:

Anyone need a breather, VSV or MAF sensor? These came with it too

  2. I get this all the time at work, funnily enough from an Corsa VXR ower, says my T Sport is slow and looks like a rudeboy car and that his stage 1 VXR will dust it anytime of the week....

I just show him this video.... not rly a dusting is it ? lol

lol, it took FOREVER for that VXR to overtake. Top end of 4th gear it sounded like?

Considering it's FI and has a couple of more horses then us I'd of expected it to give a bit more oomph

    Ah well, here's to having a 190 :D

  3. Fantastic guide mate, I had HIDs on my 140 but went away from them on my 190 due to the new MOT regulation (which apparently isn't being enforced anyway!)

I miss my HIDs. I'm tempted to get some more as it's an excellent mod for under £40. I also always wanted to know how to get ride of the little "spots", as I can kind of see them with my MTEC's in, so I'll know I get them with HIDs in

    6000k ftw! :)

  4. I've wrapped a few bits with said cheapy stuff from eBay and it came out pretty well. Corners are difficult to navigate as you've got to heat and flex the wrap so it's all flush with curves without scrunching up as it tries to do

As the centre console is fairly flat (albeit curver where the gear lever and ashtray holder is) you should be fine to have a crack at it. The wrap can be taken off and re-applied a number of times before it starts loosing it's tack (obviously as long as the part is wiped down and cleaned beforehand) so don't be afraid to re-apply certain areas if they're not spot on

The Hexis wrap (and other branded ones) are bubble-free, meaning air bubbles are resistant to form while you apply it which is why they're recommended

The cheaper stuff on eBay (unless specifically listed as such) don't have this tech, and will form bubbles from time to time. Either heat it up and re-apply, or get a pin and pop the bubble before pressing the wrap down properly

I've done my interior light and sun visor mirror 'lid' things in carbon wrap I got off eBay, they look pretty good although by no means perfect. I'd take them off and do it again if I could be bothered

Taking it to the next step soon anyway and will be skinning various parts in real carbon fibre, but that's a different story to wrapping :sofa:
