  1. I'm going to try parking it somewhere else today and make sure its on camera, I do generally park in the same spot or area, other alternative is getting a new job so I don't have to park there at all.
  2. No I can't think of anyones name who begins with N, theres nobody I work with that does, and as I said I don't live in the area so I don't know anybody around either. I'm going to make some complaints at work today, but unfortunately there is no seperate car park for employees, so its literally a park at your own risjk car park, but I shouldn't have to worry about what condition my car is going to be in everytime I go
  3. Like I said my last car was keyed 3 times where I work, and i thought it was because it was highly modded and stood out, whereas this car is completely standard, so it proves someone is being malicous to me, I have since looked at spy cameras but your still talkin £200+. But I wanna find out who keeps doing it because no one else at work has any problems.
  4. This is now the fourth time in three years of working where I do that I have had my cars keyed. And I can't for the life of me understand why it keeps happening to me, is it just pure bad luck or have I got someone who doesn't like me, or jealous of what I have, as I don't even live in the area I work so I don't know anyone around other than work colleagues. Most annoying is there is no CCTV where I work so I can't even catch who keeps doing this Can't tell on the pics but its generally down to the metal. Seriously pissed off though
  5. If that bumper was made for the celica, it woud be my number one choice. Good photoshop work
  6. So can you confirm from what you have said if I have fitted mine the wrong way round? Here is a pic of my front driver side
  7. Just curious if it matters what direction the grooves on discs face, and if so what are the effects of them being the wrong way?
  8. I'd rather see it running than a guided tour of how it looks, but still that is cool
  9. I have driven quite a few cars although only owned two, and there are a few cars out that that I think I wouldn't mind one of those i.e 370z ( maybe next ) but I think would still want to keep my celica as well, but running both would kill me lol. So for me I'm happy with what I got and as its still got plenty of life left in it ( and mods to do ) I think I'll take it to the grave. I'll let the misses have the boring family cars, by which I will try and make my celica a weekend toy.
  10. depends on your price limit really? facelift interior? I cant see that in your mod thread and its just taken me 15 mins to speed read through every page lol
  11. Yea I know how to do it myself, its the previous owner who has done a dodgy job on mine and left the blobs so just wanted to know how to get rid of them, thanks for the help though.
  12. yea but even if the car runs like shit you could break it for parts and the with the vultures we have on here you would make more than that back
  13. Ok so its a definite no then, this was just some advice I was given to try but wanted to see what other people thought before I tried it. The blobs are quite thick in some places, any recommendations on a compound to try?
  14. Hoping someone can help me out on a query here. Previous owner of my car has done some touch up paint on the car but left it as blobs ( really annoying ) so I'm wondering if I use paint thinner on it 1st will it rid of the blobs so I can smooth it back, and 2nd will it do any harm to the factory paint or will it only affect the touchup? Obviusly if its going to make me need a respray sooner than I can afford it then its out of the question for now lol.
  15. Could you not just buy a cheap car to run for you main journeys and keep the t sport for a weekend fun car? Its a shame to keep hearing these stories of people no longer being able to afford these cars. I know what you mean though, I used to drive everywhere with me and my misses but the same as you now if we go any where distance wise we always go in her 1.2 punto.
  16. Tidy that is mate, looks very nice indeed. Can I ask where those photos are taken, looks very similar to a place in Bridgnorth I know. Plans sound good too, keep us posted
  17. I have respect for any Jap made car makers..... I previously had a honda and loved that too.
  18. Let me know what price you get them for Dave, I may ask you to go order some for me too as you seem to get offered really good prices lol
  19. I'm guilty of most of those things haha. But I'm proud I have Celicalitus
  20. I like everything on that except for the front end, just doesn't flow at all.
  21. my daily commute to work is through country roads so its always nice to have windows down and listen to that engine, most of my journeys i cruise at the speed limits and just have the occasional blast when I'm either bored, provoked or generally annoyed lol. The sound of 8.5k is just sweet to the ears
  22. Basically just after a bit of a read here, so aside from the general running costs how much do you spend on modding your celica per month? And do you have a maximum that you want to spend on your car overall or will you just keep spending till you either get bored or run out of money? I usually range from £50-£120 per month ( or I'll save that amount for a couple of months to buy something more pricey ). As a maximum, I'd probably say £2500-£3000 for general cosmetic and performance mods, but obviously if I ever decide to supercharge it will jump to a total of around £7000
  23. Definitely overpriced, the low mileage doesn't justify that much price difference. I think the bumper may just be catching the light funny as in some pics it looks right and others it doesn't, without seeing it in person its hard to tell.
