Need one new tyre would like to upgrade from Falken 914. Was going to buy Goodyear F1 that seems to be favoured by many. But I haven't heard anything about this one below. It's £8 more but the ratings are far better than the F1. Now not sure what to do, any advice??

Just had a look at the other accessories. Ooo a cool box for only £200 !!

This has been covered before although cant recall if there was a positive result. Trouble with bright leds is that they probably wont illuminate the area you're reversing into.
You could do what this ebayer suggests

Sounds like the same part for the rear valance or skirts. Should be stickied in gen7 section.
-
Mmmmmaybe. comes down to price though

I use a set like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-Car-Door-Body-Trim-Panel-Dash-Center-Console-Installation-Remover-Tool-Kit-/310665592612?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item48551cbf24
The plastic doesn't scratch the trim, so it's excellent in that regard.
That looks like a handy set. Wasn't what I was thinking for those clips in question.
-
Out of interest is there a specific tool to remove the clips in the OP ? Screwdriver tends to chew the older ones up....
Yeah I could do with under bonnet ones too! I've only got 2 left, and one of those is a replacement!

Im looking to buy a new set as one of my ballasts (ebuybox purchase) has failed. The links on the first page, the canbus set at £52 how much better are these than the £26 Londoncolor set. My understanding is that gen7 don't have CANBUS system?

I think you're making the correct choice with just grooved and coated. Thought 'ticking' only came with the drilled discs. Are you getting them from FreakyParts?
-
Is that the boot lid.... might be a good excuse for a carbon replacement !!

Google key techniques ??

So you never used a torque wrench....where would you find out what torque to set it at??

Sounds good to me.

Well just to let you know after a few phone calls to vosa I finally got my car passed with hids.
-
Tell the garage you're going to leave it with them to fix the levellers and washers
Hahaha never thought of that one!
Failing a device for being inoperative when it isn't (or doesn't have to be) fitted is illegal.
Really?? Never knew that.
Would personally ask how they are inoperative?, what about them doesn't work? as if they are not fitted, they cannot by definition be inoperative!
Yeah I think I got that point across but they were sticking to their guns.
-
My HIDS 'failed' my mot. I argued the point with three staff at the garage relating to the wording of the new regulations. But what p#sses me off is the reasons for refusal :
001 Front headlamp cleaning device inoperative
002 Front headlamp levelling device inoperative
The car doesnt have a cleaning device so how can it be inoperative and the levelling device that is fitted works !???
So currently have no MOT grrrr

Had an MOT fail yrsterday due to the hids, ie. Leveller and washers, I argued the point of 'only when fitted' but the garage wasn't buying that stating new rules from the 20th march and told me to fit standards for a pass. Feel a bit peed of but one hid bulb needs to go back to ebuybox (ebay)as its flickering anyway.
If they're fitted perfectly you'll never notice the ufo's, dipped or not covering them just makes it easier
Id like to know what you're doing that im not !

whats the larger black object, second pic, with the 'x' embossed??

Cool, think it talks?

I got a genuine sports m bonnet scoop and that's got a stamp too
Does it say Toyota or trd .?
-
A bit pricey if it were s copy. DarraghTRD broke a sportsm a few month ago maybe pm him for advice.

Not sure I can post a link but type in Toyota key service the seller is automobile-locksmith 20quid but try an offer ;-)

Just used that guy of ebay to get my broken key swapped over . Cracking service posted old key Wednesday received new key Friday . The casing looks oem , much better than the £3 casing I bought a while back.

GREAT GUIDE!!! Other than the tight fit and 2year warranty is there any other technical advantages of choosing the Canbus-pro kit over the sub£30 kit??? I would like to buy a kit today...

Ok thanks. So they are good choice as an 'all-rounder' but not good enough for your celica. So stick with the F1. Is what I'm hearing.
