  1. Charlie at Surrey rolling road , woking I think its jkt 11 m 25 he's a top bloke and if he's got a dyno day running on a sat he sometimes slots you in and you generally get it for £ 35 other than that its around £45

  2. Mines an auto had it on the rollers last year and it only put out 86.7 at wheels BUT I found out my timing was out by 10 degrees this was fixed by Steve hall on the way home and the cars been much more responsive since, at the time Charlie at Surrey roling road estimated it roughly at 120 ish at the fly ,but I believe now mine is going to be back to manufactured estimate as 147 if not more, but ill have to get it back on the rollers to find out for sure

  3. Hi all I'm looking at getting a thatcham cat 2 immobiliser fitted to my car , the company I spoke to this morning will offer me a gemini immobiliser with a key that you push in to a small receiver on the dash this will cost 135 and they may even remove the old scorpion alarm that's on it already that's not working free of charge , this of course depends on if the system is a cat 1 wired into everything .

The question is though is this key system ok or do I get the touch fob system where you touch it on a pad on the dash ? I've spoken to two fitters from 2 companies and they both give pros and cons about each so thought I would ask you guys what you think ?

  4. Sounds a good price , but get feedback on his work and if poss see some of his work mate, I got recommend someone earlier this year and the work was done badly , cost me 330 for two rear quarters resprayed and treated for minor rust a wing and sunroof when I looked over the car he had not removed any mudflaps or trim and I wad left with masking marks on the trim and runs / lines behind the mudflaps ! He said to pay then he would take the car back the following week to rectify it ad he didn't want me being unhappy with his work, guess what ! ! He never answered his phone again and nobody could get hold of him, now I have to pay again at some point to get it re done as the rust came back after a week !

Don't get me wrong the bloke you've gone to may be top notch and not a cowboy like the one I went to , just for your own piece of mind check his work first.

    Good luck bud

  5. I think it depends on the car mate my gen 4 is a creamy white and any other white other than my colour match would look odd so I've been told, since doing them a few people have said that it suits it but on newer cars I think a bright glossy white looks the nuts , good look with it though mate :)

  6. Mate I for one can understand how your feeling I lost the sight in my right eye as a child you learn to adapt without even thinking about it but even now I'm not ad protective as I should be with my other eye , as for driving some people think you shouldn't drive with just one eye I know people driving class 1 trucks who have one eye it doesn't affect them really , as for dvla they ate aware of it with me but I have no disability as far as they are concerned and have no restrictions and no affect on my insurance , really hope you get through this though bud

  7. I have to admit my gen 4 is an auto and its nice to drive I've been told that its got a great pick up by a lot of people and then you have the sport button and just flick off the o/d , good luck with the search though hope all goes well for you :)
