  1. I've seen that car many times and always liked it. Was very surprised to learn that is actually a stock colour in the states - Zephyr Blue Metallic. Definitely a contender, but it's a real gamble to have a car sprayed just on the basis of seeing a pic. Ideally any colour I go for will be one I have actually seen. Ams, Is this the Alfa blue? Very nice colour if it looks as good in reality as in the pic. You REALLY like that purple don't you I'm thinking no candy's - too expensive, just got to make a choice of whether I want the car to stand out or go subtle. Very surprised that the Renault liquid yellow isn't doing better in the poll. Amazing colour.
  2. Interested in your opinions on the following. As you will know I'm having the car re-sprayed at the end of the month and still undecided which colour to go for. They all look good to me, any reasons why I shouldn't pick one over another?
  3. Honestly, I looked that colour up on Google and wasn't fussed, then tonight I saw a BMW in that colour and was very surprised at just how nice it is. May have to go on my list of possibles.
  4. Everything you say makes perfect sense and I appreciate your input. I am in somewhat of a quandary as to stay silver because I do like the colour and having had a few quotes the price is much cheaper than changing it. BUT, then I think if I'm going to spend good money on the car I may as well have a colour I really like. Decisions, decisions ........................
  5. Thanks mate, liking that and loving this Now if only I knew what colour that is
  6. LeMans sunset metallic A17 - I quite like that, could look good with black wrapped roof etc. and Dublet DON'T post my comment above onto that pink 7 .............. although I quite like that 2nd pink one
  7. Thanks for the info, and you're probably right too about the cost. I like it so much though that I've got nothing to lose by, at least, pricing the paint and everything else needed to go with it. Also liking the suggestions of: Renault liquid gold Toyota burnt orange Subaru blue pearl (pearl may be expensive too though) Nissan midnight purple Keep 'em coming.
  8. I seriously like that, thanks for the pic. Do you know the colour code?
  9. White looks great on a 7 but a bugger to keep clean.
  10. That is gorgeous, though I have a feeling that colour may be expensive, right? Like Ownleemee's suggestion of metallic yellow and Viva la Bloke's liquid gold as well. When I've got a few more suggestions I'll take the best and ask for a photoshop if someone would be kind enough to do one for me.
  11. But you haven't seen it on a Celica though, could look good, do you think? Intrigued. Got any pics of this colour? thanks Intrigued. Got any pics of this colour? thanks
  12. Having my car re-sprayed in about a months time, at the moment I am favouring this green but open to ANY suggestions. Only criteria is that I like 'shiny, shiny' would prefer to have a colour that stands out (nothing too outraegeous or expensive though), definitely NOT black or white. The car is silver at the moment and I wouldn't mind keeping it silver as long as I could find a silver colour that stands out. Your ideas are all welcome. Any pics of your chosen colour would be great, and any photoshop of your colour on a Gen7 would be even better.
  13. ^this and everything being plastic on the inside.
  14. Got the same, black wheels with polished lip - same problem too - now bought black nuts = no problem, sorted.
  15. No worries mate, more than grateful for your help.
  16. I bough a set of tuner nuts a few weeks ago. Stopped 4 times during one journey last week, something was definitely wrong with the back nearside wheel. Couldn't find it until I got home and took a wheel brace to it. 2 nuts were slightly loose on the back wheel BUT 2 other nuts on the front nearside wheel could be moved by hand! Sh**ing myself every time I go out in it now. Didn't buy from the same guy as you have posted but were £20ish nuts.
  17. Thanks both, I'll try tyretest.com see what they say there. cheers.
  18. Why is it that the same make tyre has different 16" + 17" ratings? HERE the rating for 17" is FUEL: B, WET: B, NOISECLASS: 2 - don't know sod all about these tyres but comparatively the ratings are v.good but here the ratings for the same tyre in 16" HERE is FUEL: E, WET: B, NOISECLASS: 1 - rating on fuel not so good, but better noise rating. Admittedly i know bugger all much about tyres but it just looks odd to me. Answers in layman terms please
  19. Yeah, think I can guess what your answer was! Glad you found some wheels that you like.
  20. Dialling code is Preston. No AVS T5's but they do sell the Advan range. Worth a call? http://www.japshop.c...s-Japanese.html
  21. Yokohama AVS T5, Ace 205 HB and Asiatec triads are very similar to those wheels.
  22. Happy Anniversary Owain!
