  1. Yeah but when you look that good it's hard not to
  2. I've been looking around as well recently & found the rainsports had mixed reviews. The ones I'll be going with are the kumho ku39's, they get good reviews dry & wet. Cheapest I can find is here, bit cheaper than camskill as well. 215 45's & 205 45's are priced the same.... http://www.tyredrive.co.uk/
  3. Have a look here... http://www.brakeparts.co.uk/ The re-furbed 140 calipers are 77.97 ex vat. This is on the premise that you do a swap for your old calipers & pay an up front surcharge which is refunded on receipt of your old calipers. Alternatively you could save around 70% & refurb yourself with their service kit (£17.27) piston (£10.36) & bleed nipple (£1.42)
  4. Been looking into this myself recently, these "snow socks" are starting to become more popular & seem to get good reviews. I don't commute to work but when it snows in the village where I live it's an absolute nightmare getting out. Took me 20mins to travel 75yards last year, the road is like a barrel profile & you just slide into the kerb. Only to be used when you're stuck really & they say whip them off once you hit a gritted road. 30mph is the max you can run on them & although they're made of a kevlar material I can't imagine them lasting too long at 30mph. For £40/50 I reckon it's worth having a set in the boot just in case.
  5. That AE86 sound the nuts! Been hooked on the related vids all arvo, think I'll have to push back a few work deadlines so I can keep watching
  6. Awesome watch. AND Rina .... Shazaaaam!
  7. Holy shit! Sure it wasn't big bird from sesame street?!
  8. I think the AEM filters are dry flow mate, so i'd only use the cleaner in your K&N kit - don't use the oil. Use a paint brush to get rid of all the loose crap, then spray on the cleaner, let it soak for 10-15 mins & then rinse. Let it air dry afterwards, don't put it near the radiator or anything like that.
  9. This is decent stuff matey....Spray on wash off, just make sure anything elecy is covered. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_155439_langId_-1_categoryId_165713
  10. The autotrader ad pic... 18 months later...
  11. You'll be fine with 4l mate

  13. These cheapy breaker bars are a must for stuff like this, makes life a hell of alot easier... 3/8 Drive http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/tools/car-mechanic-tools/wrenches1/breaker-bars/?SEAAK729&0&t5_337 1/2 Drive http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/tools/car-mechanic-tools/wrenches1/breaker-bars/?SEAAK7301&0&t5_337
  14. Heard that using GL5 can fook with the syncros? So i'd stick with the GL4 stuff.
  15. It's not a hard job to replace mate so don't worry. I did mine just pulled up onto the pavement, so not completely necessary to jack the car if you don't have access to one. Whip the passenger side plastics off & you'll need a 24mm socket, a syphon pump, a cheap 400/500mm breaker bar will also come in handy to undo the fill & drain plugs ..... This is for the 190 gearbox but gives you an idea, although if i remember correctly the fill plug maybe positioned differently on a 140?? http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=121104 Syphon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-5010559436507-43650-Syphon-Pump/dp/B0001K9UCS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1311247779&sr=8-3
  16. Also available here mate for the same price, might be worth dropping these an email as well asking what tyres are inc with the bundle... http://www.revolution247.com/lenso-d1r-white-red-81682-0.html
  17. Not the best but here you go pal, think they'd look the goolies
  18. You'll be pleased to hear mate, they don't make the "t t t t t" noise. grooved only with red stuffs.
  19. For the price of the petrol mate you may as well just book a courier, £15 https://www.paisleyfreight.com/
  20. Just in the process of hammerite - ing discs myself & i'm using the silver direct to rust metal spray mate. Just masked off the first one, give me fecking strength! (curvey masking tape, brilliant stuff) Would something like autosol clean them up before you paint them, or is the rust too bad?
  21. I haven't been having problems with ebc's, never had them before & I think the problem in question was with ebc discs ? I've heard good things about ferodo & they've been around since Jesus was a bairn, but the ones bundled were oem equivalent. Either way I've ordered some redstuff for the fronts.
  22. Not had chance yet mate. Considering banging the front ferodo pads that came with them on ebay & getting some red or yellow stuff instead.
  23. Yes bud they arrived on Friday.
