  1. I think its just a mistake, I think its a fiesta headlight
  2. Nah, celica owners shop at Tesco's!
  3. Well an update, had my MOT today and it passed with the smoked side indicators - yet they did pick up on things like headlight level etc Heres the ebay seller and the pic of the indicators: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/onlinetraders001/
  4. Gutted seeing this Unless you have an ex-girlfriend or something beginning with 'N' I doubt anyones stupid enough to start writing their name, so it could be the start of NOB or something... just saying! The fact they didnt finish means they were disturbed so someone might have seen it happen, I'd ask around. You got a computer at work? Try a wireless (wifi) camera/webcam to keep an eye on it, save all the days footage to the PCs hard drive - I know my Logitech came with motion recording software which could also be set to send an email, set this up to my mobile phone email so I got a notification every time someone would set the webcam off
  5. I think atleast 50% of the light has to come through, Ive fitted black mirrored/smoked indicators recently and with the MOT in 2 weeks we'll see how they do! They do still look bright enough to me though The seller on eBay professionally smokes/tints various bits so if you dont fancy doing them yyourself you could send them off to him. Heres the rear lights he has at the moment - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-CELICA-MK7-99-05-SMOKED-BLACK-MIRROR-REAR-LIGHT-/180685965663?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a11b9095f
  6. Its their job to do it right, if they cant then they deserve it for you to keep going back til they get it done properley! Maybe one or two points are alittle picky but the rest are completely valid reasons imo
  7. I used some standard clear sealant, as its only to keep the water out, what was left of the black stuff keeps the light together

  10. Theres the JVC AVX820 and AVX830 too and now the new KW-AVX840... this should lower the price of the previous models
  11. I think its possible, just lay down the law with the dealer "I have this much, and I want that car! Take it or leave it"
  12. Soon to be ex-wife I hope? Thats not the way to get physical!
  13. I wouldn't think so, they use general generic codes I think. Sorry I couldn't get round to you mate to test out mine on your car first, lent it to a mate and not seen it since When I get back off holiday I could pop and try my phone on your scanner? Doubt it will be much different though Does Torque come up with any error codes or anything? You using the free version? Is it up to date?
  14. Are the lights going crazy on the scanner? What software you using? Check its plugged in properley?
  15. Does it even show when your scanning for devices?
  16. Tried and tested them myself, looks pretty good except when close up they look abit like the old school tight wrapping! Pretty easy to use, just have to take your time and lightly stretch it over the curves, and dont be afraid to peel it back gently to redo areas that may be more curved or have a mistake in them I tinted my spoiler brake light and headlights, but for such a main focused/large area as the headlights I didnt think it looked good enough so I removed it which unfortunately left a light pattern on them which to this day still wont come off
  17. I was going to crack open my headlights to fit some halos and have a go at sealing this hole, but if the holders are an easy fix... which ones do I get and from where?
  18. £20 a time for me as I get £20 fuel a week from work, so need the receipt. If its the weekend though Ill throw in £30-£40
  19. Megane Coupe Sport 1.6 16v in sunflower yellow (could it BE anymore of a manly yellow? ), only thing I miss about it was its trip computer Oh, heres a pic
  20. Actually, they are handmade lol. He gets the components and crimps/solders them himself I think When I ordered mine he was waiting for stock of certain bits which delayed the order by afew weeks, but I was kind of expecting it as other members were saying they got theirs in 2 months
  21. ^ Agreed, I think they'll suit it!
