Do you know what the full rrp's normaly?

I've had this before, the rear tyres dis shape and are not round any more. If you run your hand around the tyre it will feel bumpy or wavey.
I was told it's the way the rear of the celica is set up from standard. I had it on some perlie zero neros and some Avon zz3 both dis shapped after about a year and half of being on the rear of the car. Was advised to stop this happing again to swap the rears with the front very 6-8 months.
I would still check the tracking and camber tho as that may be the main cause of it.

Oh sorry no just that paint from the eBay seller, that's it.
-
Lex what do you call proper paint?
Hoody that looks awesome. So you didnt bother with their own primer, base paint, or lacquer?
Im interested in what exactly you used on the calipers (layers etc)
Nah I got the rest of the paints from halfords as it worked out cheaper. Even tho I used 5 cans of candy on the engine bay, it still cost a small fortune lol
As for the calipers I cheated tbh as I was in a rush, I was changeing the discs at the same time, so I un bolted the calipers and zip tied it to the spring, cleaned it and gave it 2 coats of paint ( cos my where blue and was hard to cover) I then started doing the disc. I then put the caliper back on but the paint was still soft so once it was back on I gave it one last touch up then put the wheel back on

I done my whole engine bay with the dark candy red from them
I used 3 coats of plastic primer, 2 coats of Nissan blade silver, 6 coats of the candy ( u have to use a lot to get the colour as it comes out pink at first and you build it upto the deep red) then 4 coats of laqure to finish.
For calilpers I used this Ferrari pearl red:
Got it from this seller on eBay:

mmm cheers for all the help guys, yes i am mainly going for looks but also anything better than stock ones i got at the moment lol. Im goin to have another think and might just get grooved.
-
Just about to buy some new brakes and not sure what discs I should get:
Drilled and grooved or dimpled and grooved?
Is that an advantage over the other?
In the past I've had people say drilled are more prone to crack is that true?

Had my rocker cover and intake done and booths rocker cover done, the guy I use don't blast them he dips them and makes a plate up to bolt to the under side so no crap gets under there. I've had these on the car and they grip really well and have lasted 2 and half years so really want to get another set. Before anyone says, I've looked for other types but I will only get different ones if there is no hope in hell I can get these
There will be a pint or two to who ever can find me some

What condition are the gt ones in? I may be intrested

I'm sure u can get some other caps to smooth down that will fit the tech 5s. The gt ones are rare as fuck now it would be a wast to sand them down when every gt owner is looking for a set

I got pulled over just after i bought the car in 2010, it was 3am and i was on my way to pick a mate up as we was on our way to the airport. anyway i just set off and went past my high street when i noticed a copper sitting in the darkness i was'nt speeding or anything. i noticed that he pulled out behind me with out his head lights on, 10 seconds later he puts his headlights on, then 30 sec later he flashed his blues at me. so i pulled over and waited for him to come to my window. i put the window down and he says
" why are you out driving this time of night"?
so i explained what i was doing, he then said
" the reason i have pulled you over is to check its you driving and your car looks very disariable to be stolen"
i said
"oh right yeah its my car, do you want to see my drivers licence?"
he then said
" no its ok ive checked everything out on the computer before i pulled you over, i best let you go, have a nice holiday"
as i drove off i though why the hell did he pull me over if and already checked everything :\ but then also thought it was good of him to check it hadn't been stolen plus i think he just wanted to have a good look at a celica

picked some tiger seal up, so going to give that a go tomorrow i like the idea that it is flexible stuff so if i do hit a bump it will flex a little instead of snaping.
-
araldite ?
I wasn't sure that would b strong enough
tiger seal
Does that stuff stick anything then?

finally got the front lip, but some of the brackets have sapped, even if they wasn't snapped i was going to re inforce them with some metal as they are prone to braking. so my question is:
What would you use to bond the new metal plate's to the plastic brackets?

I've use a Toyota specialist in the past to fit a clutch and flywheel. Great guys, very quick and fair price.
They are based in south woodham Ferris in Essex
