The handbrake shoes are inside the rear discs. That's why they have a deep hub on them, wouldn't be seen with the calipers off but would when the disc was off.

On my old 7 a stone had got into the hub of the rear disc and was trapped in the handbrake pads.

you could take the steering column cowl off and fabricate a plasticard surround glue it onto the inside of the cowl and paint it black, but it's alot of effort to goto for something that you won't notice and nor will many other people Good luck with your inner tube idea, don't think it would work myself but let us know!

No you need the facia from the cars that came with the Sony headunit, I think it was an optional upgrade. A damn nightmare to get hold of.

If you know someone with the right tools then they will be able to re-thread it for you, no problem. Won't have to take anything apart todo it either.

They do suit the car, but I fancy a change, nope not Oz wheels at all! Though I would be sorely tempted by a set of Chrono's. I'm in no rush to sell and they'll only go at the right price. It'll be kept under wraps untill its actually acomplished

Not much difference in my faff between V-Power and Momentum 99, except the price. I don't run anything less than Momentum 99 though.

Yeah I was thinking about that, but the pipework for the FMIC comes off the throttle body which is still quite high, not sure about clearances with a standard 202 bonnet? Be an interesting project. But I love the look of the faff anyway so wouldn't want to change it and for me the Charge Cooler is an integral part of the 205's identity

As far as I'm aware, correct me if I'm wrong, that you can't fit a standard 202 bonnet to a 205 as the bulge is there for the charge cooler?
