  1. I think Samco do pretty much any reducer you can think of, you might wana drop them a line though http://www.samcosport.com/uk/products.asp
  2. I only go when I am completely stuck in finding a part, or sometimes the smaller parts like wheels studs, Here is an example of my local dealer... Get a letter through the post, '65k service is due, this we estimate will be £120' So I think to myself this isnt so shabby, its gonna cost me atleast 80 quid in oil and spark plugs + other bits and to save the hassle of doing it myself and getting a genuine toyota service stamp I thought it cant be argued, so I phone them up, and the quote then changes to £400... That 400 covered: Oil change - New sump plug washer is extra. Oil filter. Air filter - Although I have an AEM CAI they still insisted they would replace it ? New spark plugs, costing 20 quid each <---- wtf ? 'check' the coolant levels etc etc. 'check' my tyres discs and pads and a 4 point visual safety check to ensure the car is still safe ? I am guessing this is incase I somehow lose an A pillar or something ? Regardless, I did the service myself, for a Grand total of £80 and just signed the book off myself. I know dealers are franchises so they are not all the same, but my local is a con artist 99.9% of the time I will do all my own servicing and repairs to my own car, peace of mind its done properly
  3. Without sounding like a ass kiss, but RT performance are worth the trip from portsmouth, about an hour and 30 mins maybe ?
  4. Noticed an increase in them too, especially Gen7's, I think its because of how much they have come down in price tbh :S Starting to see more and more of them in breakers too.
  5. Gte the new one in just line the notches up and pull it through using an old wheel nut, its what I did anyway.
  6. If it was my car and I was in your situation, I would get it a nice snug cover, and do the stuff Harv advised I would then take a picture of my car and keep it in a picture frame and leave it on my bedside table lol.
  7. I think the toyota original studs are made of cheese, or they had a line of poorly made ones, I manage to break three on mine at about 40 nm. Its abit of a pain to replace the studs but easily done yourself.
  8. If I was going to have a respray, the only people I would trust with my Baby is RT Performance, they repaired my panel and done a cracking job! Its worth dropping them a line
  9. Having a buckled on the back will still make it feel like its wobbling bud in my experience anyway! I thought it was one of my fronts, swapped it out with another alloy and it felt like it was on rails! Can check your CV joint by sticking her on full lock and moving forward, if you get a knocking noise its normally time for a replacement
  10. I got my AEM CAI from Mad motors £200 delivered so worth checking that out Screemer, I think I phoned them and ordered over the phone, mentioned I was a celica club member hence the 200 delievered price tag OFC i can fit that for you too bud
  11. Hey mate, I have the AEM Cai on mine and love it, and alot of people here will vouch for it too, but it is a little more expensive at £200, you also have the options for the short ram inductions. Alot of people here have been using the Ebay cai and short ram kits, that are alot cheaper and they pretty much do the same thing. As for embroidered mats, someone else might be along to advise on that!
  12. I sent them an email and asked for a quote, but ended up going to see Tarras as it was easier then trying to get a photo that showed the true extent of the damage. Couldnt recommend them enough Feel your pain too bud, worst feeling ever when you damage your baby!
  13. RT Performance did mine, I did a similar thing, but with my rear arch + I dented / creased it bad! ended up needing the whole panel repaired, resprayed and blended in with the door and they charged £300, Was a brilliant job too! Some before and afters of their work for you, but I highly recommend them! Before After
  14. Its not to bad of a job, just mucky and time consuming. aslong as you have an old wheel nut that hasnt been capped off you'll be able to do it fine If its a tighter fit, once they are in they arent comming back out anytime soon I guess hehe! Think your gonna start a group buy on these FreakyParts ? 15mm + Studs please
  15. Sound like a win to me, I am sure with abit of persuasion they will go in
  16. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370548316106?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Those are 30mm ones though I think ? Although thats the seller your after, was gonna order some 15mm for myself soon but cant be bothered to translate German at the moment lol. As for fitting, if using the studs they come with, then you'll need to take the whole wheel + disc off, hammer out the old studs and then pull the new ones through, which is a pain but can be done using an old stud, I dont know of any guides but someone whould be along soon
  17. Saxo's a Corsa's for me too, there is a Saxo VTR around where I live that keeps trying to have a pop at me, fails miserably every time though <-- this kid dont know the right time or place to have a little play though, sometimes I just let him passed as he drives like he's trying to get away from the police, dangerous stuff!
  18. Happy Birthday to the club! Only been a member for a year or so but the best car club ever! May the next 10 years be just as awsome!
  19. Yay, looking forward to seeing them, still have not got round to ordering mine but want the red anodised to go with my new Tanabe strut brace Would defo be interested in a kit
  20. Wow that's some serious luck, Glad to hear your ok though and nothing serious came of it!
  21. Wont be doing mine until the summer now, gonna has to fill them holes in and then sand, prime, spray, laquer, best wait for the long days and warm weather to come back
  22. As you clearly take car of your 6, a 7 will not give you any problem's, providing that you dont buy tatty one . As sad as it is to say there is alot of unloved and run down Gen 7's on the road, breaks my heart If you come around the herts area to look at any, and want a second opinion then give me a shout bud
  23. I am going to be doing this myself, but as I want to spray and blend I am going to wait until it gets abit warmer, I dont have the luxuries of infrared lights :/
  24. I hate the DVLA laws sections, the majority of the rules are so flawed lol. They never make sense and always leave you feeling more confused then before. I put my order in with mook anyway so I will let you all know if I am pulled over lol. Yeh I was going to fill in the holes with abit of FG and filler then sand, prime and paint. Gonna have to wait until the sun starts shining again though :/ I hate the winter season. Yours looks very tidy Liam with that plate on the front, I have been meaning to debrick it since I bought it but never got round to it until now lol.
