  1. I'd like some fuel hose from my filler on my boot fuel tank to the flush filler on the outside (approx 30cm) and it seems easier to have 1 bendy 52mm ID marine fuel pipe than some 'proper' silicone fuel hose and joiners and angles needed etc as I can't see any with a bit of bendyness :)

I'm pretty sure the difference is to do with pressure and that marine engines aren't pressurised fuel tanks so pipe doesn't need testing under this circumstance. Whereas car fuel tank is pressurised.

  2. Ray, I have the same battery mate and mine has lasted 3 years so far!! My car stands still most of its life! But then it doesn't power hardly any electronics like yours would so it oes to show the draw the standard car pulls off the battery when standing!!!

  3. Scott thanks for the offer but that's the problem, the car isn't drivable until the welding is done :( TBH I know someone with a portable welder, it's not a beast but should be fine for welding 2mm sheet so I'm guna give it a go. I have welded before when I was about 17 on a work placement and I did my seat runners which are still going so it shouldn't be beyond me, I'm just crap at setting the thing up lol!!!
