Full size alloy, they don't weigh that much and TBH I'd rather not risk not having it for longer journeys

My mate just bought a 61 plate S3, it's a great car. Not sure I'd hand over as much cash as he did for it though Specced up and brand new it was shocking, nigh on £38k!!
I like the Renaultsport Megane RS250, nice looking car but I think I'd go for the TT-S if it were in budget from those listed. Personally if I had the kind of cash you need for a TT-S then I'd be switching to looking for a nice Cayman S myself

Pickles - "Are we there yet?"
"Are we there yet?"
"Are we there yet?"
"Are we there yet?"
"Are we there yet?"
Train Driver - "F*ck off!!!!"
Is how I imagine the journey is going so far

Welling up? He'll be bawling his eyes out and blubbering like a girl by the time it comes to handing over the keys...

Poor Wayne. I couldn't imagine someone driving my car away.Think f it came to it, I'd rather crash it or crush it.

... and fit them for free. Using his own Dot5.1 fluid and a set of brand new Goodridge hoses...
C'mon man. He's selling you a set of calipers at (I guess) a much reduced rate than you could walk into Toyota and get them for and you're trying to haggle a free paintjob? Give over.

Mook's gallery could do with an update though Bryan, there's a lot more that have been done and not been added, in fact there aren't many Gen7 ones on there...
-
Why not just design your own dials. That's the whole idea and you can be unique. Plenty pictures of mine over the forum but I don't fancy sitting inside someone else's car and seeing a copy.
In the last GB of 2010 mook must have done 20 or so and all were individual. Get your creative side working.
This.
They should really be personal to you. But I guess if you are just looking for ideas to tweak or adapt then go for it...
First set of dials (sold on since)
and the latest set

Damn, not good news. I hope you feel better this morning and there's no lasting ill-effects. As said many times already, car is replacable but you are much less so.

Any local motor factor for the belt. Reference can be found in Wiki. Contact Mark.3 for fitting dude, he's a mobile mechanic and a bloody nice fella. Trusted by me
-
Belt will be under £20, I think I paid like £15 or something. Maybe worth dropping Mark3 a message or call. He will definitely be able to help at reasonable costs

Just added my location on the map...if yours is correct we live in the same town mate!
Close, I'm Northfleet really, keep your eyes peeled for local meets, we used to hold regular meets at Bluewater and Lakeside with pretty damn decent attendance too. I don't have my Celica at the minute but no doubt when I do get it back you'll see me around in the old girl.

Modifications if you please Many thanks.

Just disconnecting the airbag will lead to a fault light on the gauge cluster for SRS. You'll need to connect a suitable resistor inline to fool the ECU into thinking the airbag is there and working properly AFAIK there is no way to just switch them on/off on these.

Huge congrats Lee, brilliant news. As for kiddies seats, make 'em fit!!!
-
I don't know anyone who hasn't loved them

Unless he needs the car on Boxing Day etc...

Yikes, that's not good. Sorry to see it. Hope you can make it a cheap fix with it being this close to Xmas and all. Best of luck.

Tiewraps man. Improvise lol.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2, great tyres. They are simply brilliant wet and dry. Another contender would be the Michelin Pilot Sport 2s. Maybe even Continental SPort Contact 3s. You tend to get what you pay for but not always!

Great quality in that video, you can really see where the extra money goes. I have to say that the GoPRo HD is the camera of choice if funds ever allow. Nice to see a courteous and considerate driver on track too, oh and "Well Held Sir" for your oversteer moment

TBF the Gen7, for the most part, is a very reliable steed. It's not got huge amounts of mmajor issues. Of the issues it does have, many can be avoided by simply buying the right example in the first place. It's certainly still less likely to let you down than the vast majority of other cars.

Sorry to hear the news Fab but I would hope someone local can help out a fellow member. I wish you well on your road to recovery.

GT4. Discussion over.
celica gt4 or 190

No contest, a GT4 would be first choice every time if money were no object and running costs/insurance weren't a deal breaker. The GT4 is a pretty big step up from a stock 190.
