I used to run a Helix Organic in my GT4, took track and drag abuse perfectly fine at around 320lb/ft but still good for road use, felt same as standard clutch to drive with
-
I sold a set of these many many years ago for 400 with no tyres.
Id stick them on eBay as they are personally.

When you say 'light' how light exactly are these any stats?
All I know is most alloys I've lifted are far from light, I'm trying to perceive the effect/difference on unsprung weight.
These wheels are 6.2kg in this size
2 hours ago, Old Red Celica said:Why are the tyres pointing the wrong direction of rotation?
Because I picked up a wheel at random just to check caliper clearance, that wheel went on the other side when I put them on at the track,I always double check lol

It’s just how they are, good in the wet just not brilliant in the dry but that’s how there designed.
Michelin Pilot Sport are the best road tyre Iv used, wet or dry they are great but you do pay for the privilege.
-
Iv got them on my missus Mazda, great in the wet and for “normal” driving but sidewalls are too soft for pressing on in the dry.
Got them on an offer but if I couldn’t get them at that price again I’d go for something else.
-
I use PBS, fantastic stopping power and not that expensive either.
Granted my car isn’t a daily but a few good stops gets them working ok, on track with decent heat in them they are fantastic
-
Pilot Sports generally aren’t much more expensive then F1’s so I would go for the Michelin’s given the choice.
Iv got the Pilot Sport 3’s on the Civic at the moment, can’t fault them but 4’s are even better, had them on my old Impreza and are the best road tyre Iv ever used.

Pilot Sports are the one for dry and wet weather, Eagle F1’s are also good.
If it is wet then don’t use AR1’s would be my advice

My dad had this done to a shogun that he used to own, we even got it on cctv of them nicking it, less than 2 minutes from the car pulling up to driving off.
There was a spate of cat converter thefts on 4x4’s in our area at the time, 5 got done in one street in one night
-
Another option is to put it on axel stands if you’ve already got some, saves buying cradles
