I indeed had the exact same tv/satnav installed in my GT4. It never worked either tho. The previous owner of the car also couldnt get it to work.
I eventially took it out and sold it to a fellow member on here last year. I had noticed tho, in my boot there are a set of clips that look like they would of held an ariel in place and clips running up the inside of the boot to the celing carpet. Possibly an ariel for the tv unit. But there is no wires or ariel there now. Looks like it had been romoved before hand.
My mate had a GT4 a few years ago and suprisingly, it had the same unit too, and his was a no go as well, so, sorry I can't really be of any help unfortunatly.
Hope you can get yours working as it would be quite cool to see it in all its Jap goodness!

I love the red leather interior, so I guess it's only a Red edition. But a Tsport in the same colour I would consider too.
But is the red edition worth what he asking for it?

Awaiting to hear back on a px offer from the 2nd celica, but the top one, the garage wont be 6 months tax on it. So thats kinda put me off a little.

I have been in contact with this garage selling this 2005 Red Edition Gen 7 and have been given a px offer for my 2008 Renault Megane Sport Tourer Estate.
Is this anyones from the club?
Before I commit to anything with the seller, whats the overall thoughts on the car?

What should this be up for from a trader?
There is another Red edition up for sale on a 2004 plate, which looks pretty identical apart from the manual heating controls for less. But I do prefer the 1st one ^^^

I have a similar problem, Matt: my Beams has a Steelmate alarm fitted, but I'm damned if I can find out which model!
I've managed to find which model by googling. I only have an immobiliser fitted to my Celica
and Microscan only make one immobiliser unit, the rest are alarms.Ive emailed them to ask if there is anyway of buying a 2nd transponder "bullet" for my unit. Only having 1 kinda scares me, if I loose it I'm stuffed!
Don't suppose you know if there are any car alarm fitters on on the club?

I have an immobliser fitted the Celica, 2 sets of keys, 1 transponder fob.
Its the kind of transponder thats basically a little pod thats a key ring that you put on with your keys. Basically Im after another transponder pod to go on my 2nd set of keys,
I've looked through all the cars paperwork and have found the installation certificate which dates back to 1998 when the car was imported.
The installers details are:

I have tried to google "Carshield - Vehicle Immobiliser" and haven't really found anything related.
The phone number is now for some recruitment agency in Woking.
When looking at the address on google street view, all its showing is some really fancy house which matches the name on the paperwork "Kingswood house"

Im trying to get some info regarding the rear spats you do for the Gen 6 + painting them to match my car. Also would be interested in getting some front replica spats too if your able to do these.

Cheers Mondo, all I want is one the locks/unlocks. You don't realize how out of date it is when you have to put the key in the lock to open
Dont suppose you know what kit you bought, also where is the central locking loom these days?

Has anyone fitted remote central locking to their Celica before?
I have a JDM GT4, it has central locking via the key hole on the door, but not key fob remote.
I was looking on ebay and there are loads of kits for this. I don't need the whole central locking kit where I need to fit actuators to all the locks etc, but just the electronic controller that I wire to the cars already central locking ecu.
Does anyone know if its easy or have done this them selfs. What kit is best to go for as there are loads.

Although I still have the GT4 which I get to drive a few times a week (Currently my wife's main car she drives it to work). I have a 2008 Nissan Navara as my main driver, I have been looking around and I still fancy having a Gen 7 GT
But my only problem Im seeing is that my Pickup is really useful to have! I use it to carry around 2 mountain bikes, my dogs can go on the back seats when we take them out to the woods for a walk etc, useful to make trips to the tip when clearing garden or getting rid of crap. Plus its great fun in the snow.
But I still would like a Gen 7 GT............. Thoughts???

but it had been stripped of its pink wrap. It's front bumper was also in bad shape too, looked like it had been hit.
But thats the one I saw on the back of a trailer going over on the ferry this morning.

At work today, I was stood right next to a gorgous white TA22 GT Coupe, then saw a red Gen 6 convertible. Unfortunaly I didnt have my phone with to take photos of the TA22
But later on I saw a front ended Gen 7 with a strange "pickup truck" rear end with honda integra Dc5 rear lights. This was on back of a trailer, looked like some sort of drifting celica.
Im sure I have seen photos of this online somewhere but can't seem to find it. Anyone else seen this car?
It had been badly moddified to say the least.....
