  1. I got some White LEDs, it has 5 smds on it 1 on top and 4 around the sides. For some reason the temp and fuel needles arnt as bright as the Rev and speedo ones
  2. What led bulbs are people using in their gen 6 speedo? Or what led bulbs did spree led supply? I've got some good bright white LEDs and they just don't seem that good in my cluster?
  3. Yeah I decided not to bother doing it now. Asked my mate what his thoughts of the look. Quote "looks like some dodgy Polish modification"
  4. Has anyone removed their speedo, Rev, temp & fuel needles and put them back on and recalibrated them so they are correct again? I have red needles on gen 6 (red sharpie pen) and I have a replacement set to put them back to white again. But I'm worried if I remove the red ones I wont be able to set the replacemts right again. Anyone done this before and how?
  5. just what I was after thanks mate, I really like that look, think i'll deffo get some Lucerne silver paint and get on it! whats best, mask it up and spray it silver or use a touch up pen to paint it?
  6. did think of that, but decided not too, but I might try my idea of painting the black outline in silver.
  7. Has anyone ever painted the black outline trim around their tail lights silver or matching colour to their cars paint work?. Just wondering what it would look like on a silver gen 6, anyone able to photo shop it for me? think it could look pretty good to have all the black trim of the rear lights and the black trim between the indicator, brake and fog lamps too.
  8. Cheers mate! I'll post a video tomorrow. Pretty sure it just needs a tighten up as it only squeals when it's a cold damp day
  9. Checked the pas belt today, didn't feel loose at all. So is the squeeling screatching noise actually the belt slipping? Or could it be something else on the pump making that noise? Just trying to narrow down where the noise is from?
  10. Deffo something I can do my self just don't have anything to lift the car off the ground
  11. Hi yes it's a gen 6. How much slack should be on the pas belt? Also how to I tighten it, what do I have to do? I've checked fluid and tbh it looks full on the little dip stick attached to the lid. But the dip stick is so short it's difficult to read lol
  12. Hi all, Every morning when I start her up the power steering squeals when I turn the wheel, bear in mind, most mornings when I start it up its very cold and damp out side. One turned the wheel 2 or 2 times the squeal stops. How do I fix this? Is it the belt that needs a tightening up? or PAS pump on it way out? There fluid in the PAS reservoir. Thanks
  13. Well an issue has come up!!! My garage just called to say the down pipe that Euro car parts have supplied me doesnt have the scorrect Lambda sensor. My Celica has a screw in sensor, the down pipe form euro car parts has a 2 bolt on sensor bracket. Called euro car parts up and they said the down pipe i need for my car they dont stock!!...... So why they sent me what they did I have no idea!..........My garage is going to try fabricate a nut that fits the sensor and weld that onto the down pipe and blank up the one thats no good! F sake!!!
  14. yeah its just a standard system tho
  15. Paid £170 for a new exhaust system, down pipe, mid section and back box, getting my local garage to fit it @ £70, pretty pleased with the cost.
  16. getting exhaust fitted this Friday @ £70. Was going to do it my self but I just dont have the tools or space needed, didnt think £70 was too bad to remove my whole exhaust system, remove and fit old CAT to new system.
  17. just bought my new exhaust system, i just need to order the new O rings, which ones will i need and how many? http://www.bestpartstore.co.uk/toyota-celica/celica-_t20/3847/10421
  18. Happy 7 Anniversary wintersun!

  19. indeed it was, the cold weather probably didn't help either, being that it was very low.
  20. cheers lads, got a jerrycan of petrol now, its only on a slight down hill, but probably enough for the small amout of fuel in the tank to go to one end of the tank. How to I pump the fuel? just keep it turning over until the pump draws it to the engine?
  21. Hi all, Just went out to start the Celica up and it wont start. 1. not driven it for about 4 days 2. weather very very cold 3. fuel is very low, light is on 4. car is parked on a slight hill facing downwards Just turned the key and the engine turned as normal and started for 1 second before it konked out on me. Turned the key again and all i can hear is the starter motor turning over the engine, no fireing up at all, not even a rumble of fireing up. run out of fuel?? .....
  22. Nice one, cheers lads! With the wrench/sockets, do you mean I need an extension to fit on the end of the socket so I can access it from under the car without any of the engine getting in the way ?
  23. Just had a look at the manifold to downpipe, those 3 bolts are really awkward to get to, not sure ive got the right tools to get to them!!
  24. I got a couple of them ramps I'll deffo be using them! Would Toyota hold all the gaskets I need in stock?
