The heat wrap doesnt last long unless you buy the expensive oil/petrol resistant stuff and same goes for your insulated terminals you posted a link to, I use a commercial heat shrink connector thats resistant or where I can I will run new wire with terminals either side so no connectors

The only way I would flush an engine is with cheap engine oil, I never use diesel, flushes or anything like that, simply fill with a suitable cheap oil and do regular changes its always worked for me

Will be fine sai, it makes sense that it smells a little from being constantly stop/start slipped for 3 hrs

I use this grease on all the rubber seals, etc on the rotational inner edge of the cam/crank seals for example and on anything rubber when I am assembling engines, components, etc its great stuff

I would be very surprised if its burnt out from stop start in traffic, it should be fine was the set offs on a hill or something so needed clutch slip to set off ?

The power hood should be on hydraulic fluid which I have at the unit, no point filling it up to leak all over again best just to wait till I fix the leak
