  1. that gen 7 was cack, i cant believe it has a turbo and is actually that slow. good on the 185 though.
  2. avoid at all costs, i hate the noise of the grit hitting my paintwork as i drive past gritters!! 3 lane motroways are ok, two lane ones get me annoyed, no safe place to go so you've got to go past lol! and dont get me started about when you get stuck behinde them on normal roads, arrrr lol
  3. i have no pics to post, but i thought i'd say the year looks like it was good, shame i never made any of the meets. hopefully next year once the celica is finally running!!
  4. the car im talking about is a 95 M reg and has no uk equivelent, but yea convincing the mot people of this is near to impossible lol.
  5. i've done some more searching and stuff, and i "think" that you can get away with an idle test with some imports because when it comes to putting in the engine code into the testing machine it will come back unrecognised. thats how people seem to do it anyway, so what do you GT4 people do ? stock exahust is pretty restricting....
  6. i see, say for example though, somthing like a starlet GT turbo (my other car) which has a totally different engine to the UK starlet. would that work?
  7. i was under the impression that imports only have idle emissions testing? therefore the exhaust can be totally de-restricted.. i.e removing the cat. am i completly wrong in saying this?
  8. noooo all the piston did was just a piece has chipped off the top, but it still remained in place, therefore not scratching or scoring the bores. (lucky) and then when the piston was removed the piece just fell off, i think there is a pic of it in my thread about it all.
  9. after all my car troubles (still not over lol) i was hoping to make some money back?? i have alot of engine spare bits, basically i have a complet engine, minus a piston, crankshaft + bearings. . . what do you think the best way to sell them would be, people dont really want random bits like i have do they? i can see them not selling on e-bay any ideas?
  10. lol haha yea, what were they smoking when they thought that up!
  11. i hope they make a decent spec version of it, like the gt4. aslong as there is a performance version i will be happy. oh and that it looks awesome of corse.... so more like a gen 7 then of corse
  12. Back on the road hopefully.. Then some more insurance... Then a new set of tyres Grrr .... Then, providing nothing else happens some power!!......
