  1. http://www.seafoamsales.com/how-to-use-sea-foam-motor-treatment.html
  2. Cruising's a good username actually....probably not as good as something like JET STREAMING or BICEP PUMPING though.
  3. haha oh c'mon, it ain't that bad. Front end looks like a gen 7 almost, those holes at the back are pretty pointless. Guarantee if it was black and someone came on here who owned it...you'd all be like 'oh cool car bro..come to a meet..what makes your bumper'. Pfft!
  4. That's a shame man, sorry to hear that. Not got a neighbour you can bark orders at? (nice lookin' motor btw!)
  5. See, this is why I want to learn to do everything myself. On a car thats as old as ours (gen 6 and earlier) I simply don't think it's worth the effort of keeping the book stamped up for future sales. The cost vs payback just isn't at all balanced. Still £347 doesn't seem massively steep for that if you don't feel condifent doing it yourself.
  6. I don't think you can go for appropriate handling without knowing what power you're getting. If someone was to go FI and go the whole hog, they'd be better doing that first and then working out what gear is needed to sit well with it in relation to handling, surely? Just buying some coilies and hoping for the best isn't a good plan in my eyes. But then I'm no motorsport expert!
  7. I did my old one in caliper paint, was told it'd go brown...after about 6000 miles...it hadn't gone brown at all. I win!
  8. pre facelift is 173, facelift is 168. facelift feels less manic...smoother through the revs that's for sure!
  9. Varies on how well the cars been looked after I imagine. My last GT had 148k on the clock and the acis kicked like an absolute motherfucker, kept VERY easily with a mini cooper S which are supercharged at 170bhp. So was doing well! My current one feels a bit faster and more responsive now I've put the induction kit on it, will be better once it's serviced from top to bottom too. Last one was part service history and newer one is pretty much FTSH...so, impossible to say really.
  10. Might be interested as I've got some BC coilovers on their way which are...weathered...and wouldn't mind getting some springs in red? Before I click the link, I'll ask here...how much on average is it for a copy spring to be made?
  11. actually asked him in the past but even ealing was a bit far from him, WAY further out with being in Reading now! Shame
  12. Looking to get the car serviced from top to toe, new everything...oil...plugs...belts...pads...discs...hopefully getting some coilovers so those to be fitted too... Can anyone recommend someone they absolutely trust in the Reading area? High five to anyone that does John
  13. water flicks up into the engine all the time, hence it getting filthy over time....I've cleaned each Celicas engine bay I've had...only thing I made sure to cover up properly was the air filter cone and the alternator. Engines aren't gonna just stop working because of a bit of water! Clean bays look nice!
  14. Are you sure this wasn't in stand still traffic or in reverse? No way on gods green earth that a 140 would keep with an st202
  15. hahaha, I'd probably end up with bearings rolling down drains or something knowing my luck
  16. SOMEONE TELL US HOW TO REMOVE THE BLOODY ENGINE COVERS OR IT'S GONNA GET REAL STINKY UP IN HERE!!!111ONE
  17. ha. Can absolutely guarantee my last GT would of MOIDERED YO ASS
  18. is there a step by step guide to remove the engine/plenum covery bits on st202 engines anywhere? I really wanna paint mine
  19. The acis kicks like a mule on a pre facelift, it's much more 'refined' on a facelift...which...in essence, makes it less fun to drive. I doubt my current GT's ability to keep up with mini cooper S's for example..my previous one could keep with one easily...and those are 170bhp supercharged.
  20. me too, I won't post any pictures of those unless I get 5 people pleading for them. (they're hilarious)
  21. I like your avatar btw, reminds me when msn was cool and you could doodle...me and my mate rob would just draw random shit to each other instead of having a conversation (this happens after knowing someone for 20 years) For example: I rock.
