DGH-ST202 Posted Saturday at 13:46 Report Share Posted Saturday at 13:46 Hi all, So Maps do not use audio and sound when in the car ( I have an aftermarket head unit touchscreen thingy I installed). It works for music, though. After playing with the settings turning the rear speakers up and front down and vice versa I found the fronts don't work anymore, they used to sometimes work and sometimes not but now they don't work atall. Now I'm not looking to upgrade them or I don't need an amp or what not I'm not an audio person, just working speakers for me is plenty enough. I see I need 6.5 inches; I have found 17cm on Halfords cheaply, around £35-50. Would that suffice? After seeing this, I see I need 8-inch adapters to make them fit. Just looking for any advice or tips on doing so, like I said not looking for super sound quality literally just working front speakers again is all. Thank You. Just ones from another car maybe make it a bit easier?

benjia Posted Monday at 13:34 Report Share Posted Monday at 13:34 The stock speakers have a metal adapter ring attached from the factory. You can get adapters from places like InCarTec. I have a post in my build thread from a couple years ago showing which speakers & rings I used
