dragon queen
Hi all, I have been offered some spacers "20mm" only issue is the bolt size is 14 x 1.5, is it possible to fit these using a 12 x 1.5 bolt ???? I am thinking it may be not be very safe to use the smaller diameter bolts. Feedback please guys

dragon queen
Normally follow my first instincts with things like this, am wary regards the safety aspect.

Guest Ambermile
If it's just spacers and if you have a spigot to centralise them and if they are machined rather than cast then I can't see a problem... but even so I'd have say only temporary measure until the proper ones (you did order the right ones?) arrive and you sell these to someone with 14mm studs. Spacers, being closer to the middle of the wheel do not cause as much vibration if they are off-center, but this does not mean *no* vibration. And any vibration is a bad thing. Actively increasing the likelyhood of it is a *real* bad thing.
